I’d like to start a thread about things that have never made sense to you in the game. For example, I have taken shots to the face from 70 foot tall demon monsters that have done less damage to me than falling 12 feet.
i don’t understand how we have wheels, but nobody has invented skateboards.
Basilisks with no livers. How? Just how?
Azeroth has an underground market for live organ donations?
Dazing. Being hit from behind makes me stagger and move slowly, why? But not in PVP?
Fear: I’m so afraid I ran… straight toward that huge pack of enemies??? Who does this?
Balancing PVP by changing PVE play.
Special moves bosses have in dungeons and raids that exist only for challenge, not logic or immersion. Like “I do more damage if you aren’t in melee range” or “I have this special ability I only use at 30% life”
Water strider.
why does something 40+ levels below me want to attack me, just because i walked a bit too close to it?
does it WANT to die?
This has long been a serious problem with MMOGs, the scarcity of obvious drops. EQ was infamous for that: “Go and get me 8 legs from spiders!”
“well hell, they have 8 each, this won’t take long”
…half an hour later…
“what is happening to all the legs I see on every spider???”
That every pillar of creation was casually in the broken isles, and it was the only way to close the portal that the Legion was using.
The idea of Suramar is also stupid if you played W3.
R.I.P. Steven
And where did this owl get an epic 2 handed ax?
If a mage or shaman polymorph me, why is my form so tiny? Where did all my mass go? Or is that tiny sheep dense like a black hole?
That’s still nothing compared to a hunter’s spider pet that leaves shoe footprints.
Why do Mechagnomes have full skeletons? Shouldn’t they just be a torso?
Oh and those two-toed mechanostriders leave three-toed footprints on the sand.
Why are the skeletons of dead things like 3 times the size of when they were alive?
All Shadowlands don’t make sense. You die, then you can die again, but you can be resurrected if you die, and undead die, get resurrected and go to the other side alive.
Interdimensional spaceships. Not able to drink while moving; bring on the sports-cap!
Yeah dying in the afterlife is just bizarre.
The whole “you died but show up again with all your gear oopsie try again” for all PCs makes no sense either, but the alternative is either iron man mode (you die, make a new character) or lie there and wait for a rez.
