I’ve reconciled this as the NPC wanted recognizable examples of these and we simply annihilated the animal to the point that the appendage/piece no longer resembled the requested part.
Though this probably wouldn’t work for all kind of weapons/attacks…
And why the hell is this suicidal chicken running across the map at mach 5 to a group of mob and then asking for help? Stupid chicken escort quest!
