WTB DM run DefM on res.
Exactly. I’m still going to report USMCSniper and BucketHead on my RP server, and get the first banned, and a lengthy explanation how a real character might put a bucket on their head and enjoy it, from a GM for the second.
Go right ahead, but they won’t get banned. They just will be forced to change their name, but if they have a history of questionable names, then they MIGHT earn a suspension.
And that’s my Vanilla experience right there…
but its MY opinion so it IS fact.
Uhh, okay then…
Uhh, okay then…
yall better recognize.
or perhaps catching the boat before it left the dock when they missed it.
I’m now going to do this. You better hide on that boat if it starts leaving and you see me running down the docks!
That’s such a frustrating feeling, now I finally have a way for misery to have company.
On a serious note, as much as I think this system is a useless addition considering personal mute/squelch is just as easy, it appears to be part of the new global social/chat system that Blizzard wants to keep consistent across all their games, so I doubt any amount of fear mongering will prevent this change from happening.
you’ll also be constantly squelched for mining Thorium.
I still have no idea how that is supposed to work, given that the RCR feature involves you talking in chat, are we to believe that these people are so vindictive that not only are they going to write down your name but they’re also going to convince x number of people to also write it down and report you every time you speak in chat. I find that absurd.

Can’t post links so, there ya go.
That’s a nice bigoted opinion you have there, you ever stop to think that it’s not the ‘‘generation’’ that’s the problem but the individual person you’re dealing with, nah that couldn’t be the case to easy to just generalize a ‘‘generation’’ without a concrete placement ( still have people calling millennial kids when we’re in our 30’s at this point.)
Almost as if ‘‘millennial’’ is just an insult that means ‘‘child’’

When you responded to Gondor, he was being sarcastic. Go back and actually read the context of his post. You may catch on.
You may actually consider reading my posts that follow. Could help you realize a few things. Way to be easily offended and paint your self into a corner, it’s not helping the situation.
Didn’t someone get banned from demo for looting a chest, that a streamer was too slow to get.
Classic will be nothing but 10x-40x multiboxers grief-stomping you and rightclick-reporting to lock anyone who gets in their way out of their accounts - and without consequences, as was shown with that infamous occurrence of such on the forums a couple years back.
Multiboxing will be cheaper than ever on classic (without the need of purchasing retail and only having active subs), and the only people playing Classic will be multiboxers and their prey.
I found this on a thread in the CS forum:

Communication
When participating in communication of any kind (chat, voice communication, group finder), you are responsible for how you express yourself. You may not use language that could be offensive or vulgar to others.
Hate speech and discriminatory language is inappropriate, as is any obscene or disruptive language. Threatening or harassing another player is always unacceptable, regardless of language used. Violating any of these expectations will result in account restrictions. More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.
While we encourage you to report players that are behaving in a disrespectful manner, falsely reporting another player with the sole intent of restricting their gameplay is also unacceptable and will result in penalties to your account.
Anyone planning to report people who aren’t breaking the ToS/EULA just for grins and giggles may want to reconsider.
The problem with this is that people can, will and do use the excuse “I though it was spam”, because the perception of it is subjective. Obviously this doesn’t apply to everything on my list, but some items like advertising in trade chat and guild advertisement are easy prey for this move.
If right click reporting is anything like forum silencing, it’s not going to be fun.
Got silenced for posting a middle finger emoji in a thread titled “what is your favorite forum emoji to use?” Reason: “Harassment.” Lmao, okay, don’t hurt yourself trying to open that bottle of soymilk, Junior.

Thing is, Blizzard isn’t dumb when it comes to situations like the one you proposed. And, everything you do in game is logged. Everything.
You are dealing with fanatics. One thing I learned from dealing with evangelicals, you cannot reason with a fanatic. Their opinions are resolute.
The best you can do is correct the misinformation for other people.

True, true.
