I am not able to see thin Jelly for the new mount quest. I have the rep opened but I have had group members point them out to me and I’m not able to see them. I’ve disabled all of my addon, relog and see nada.

Try completely resetting your UI, not just disabling addons.

I would agree. I haven’t seen any issues with this item, but if the issue persists definitely report it in the Bug Report forum so our QA team can take a look.

I can’t see the thin Jelly either…

I’m flying to all the confirmed waypoints for the Jelly and not seeing anything at all. To add to it, I didn’t get the 500 rep for killing the Honey Smasher either.

Hae u tried the FUll UI reset that was posted above to see if that was causing the issue id also post in the bug forums.

Eh, I did do the full reset plus cache deletion, but I think I figured out why no rep or no jellies. After offering the Hive Mother the jelly, you also have to click on the Nascent bee and offer the jelly to it, which then allows you to see the jellies on the ground.

Still kind of a bummer. I missed my 500 rep on the Honey Smasher because of this oversight.

Edit: yep, that was it. I can see the jellies and collect them now.

I didn’t get the 500 rep for killing the Honey Smasher but I did find some Thin Jelly on the ground near the hive. It was the only Thin Jelly I found though.

That thin jelly is the one you have to offer to the Hive Mother, then you give it to the Nascent Bee :honeybee: now you’ll be able to find other thin jelly’s and jelly deposits and get rep for killing the Honey Smasher.
If you still struggle to spot jelly and jelly deposits after that go to system setting, graphics and turn Ground Clutter down to 1.

Yep, that one always spawns there for your first one so you can offer it to the queen, then let Barry talk to her, then give it to the baby bee in the hive. Once all that is done, you can see get rep and see jellies.

I have turned my ground view to 1, I have reset everything, I have done all the things to allow me to gain rep and I should be able to see the thin Jelly, but I don’t. I’m running a 2080 TI so it isn’t my graphics card.

  1. Do you have Bumbles the bee pet?
  2. Did you go talk to Barry at the boat behind the Meadhall flight point?
  3. Did you go to the hive and talk to him again? Did he hint at finding something the queen might like?
  4. Did you pick up the thin jelly at the special spawn point in front of the cave at 63.20, 28.44?
  5. Did you then try feeding it to the Queen?
  6. Once you did that, you should have talked to Barry again and he goes on and on for a bit.
  7. Now he tells you to go in the hive and feed the jelly to the baby bee larvae.
  8. Once that is done you can gain rep and pick up the thin jelly nodes.
  9. To verify you have the rep unlocked, check your rep page and also go kill the elite Honey Smasher down on the beach. It is good for 500 rep per day if you have things unlocked.

Beyond that it is a matter of knowing what to look for. They come in a few different forms. Small cylinder, 3 or 4 hole combs, and even round sap looking things on trees like where Sirens Song herbs spawn.

Yes I have done all of the above. I also loaded tomtom and put in the nodes and have flown over many of them but still don’t see them.

I cant find the Thin Jelly I got the one bee not the Black bee seabreez they said its ok on WoWhead and I summon the bee where barry was at and I follow the gren spots up to the hive and now I cant get the jelly becuse I cant see any I look and look im getting mad not cool I dont get it or understand please help or fix this thx

Okay - I just went and killed the Honey Smasher and give the Jelly I got to the baby. I got 80 rep and NOW I can see the thin Jelly.

Yep, if you don’t feed baby the thin jelly you can’t see it. There is always one at the coordinates I gave after you talk to Barry and he tells you to find something the queen might like. If you are facing the hive, the spawn is a few feet behind you in the grass.

Sounds like you sorted it out though!

Just a heads up. I killed the Honey Smasher before getting into the hive as well, but after I got in, I killed him again and got the 500 rep.
