How can it be “nerfed” if it’s not even released yet? There is no set speed for dynamic flying in the Old World. There’s only a set speed for dragon flying in the Dragon Isles where dragons would understandably be more comfortable flying faster.

It being more fun is because it is faster. If it was just as fast as static flying I’d rather just have static flying and get to use my mounts I like more than dragons.

A thing that drives no one out of the game should not be on a list of regrets especially if its the thing that keeps some people playing. You made a weird comment for no real reason.

It’s better because it’s faster… if not for the speed it’s worse than air swimming.
Definitely not my opinion, but that’s okay! Everyone has their preferences. To me it’s more fun because I enjoy dragonriding how it is. Just like some players prefer to eek along air swimming now despite dragonriding being a thing, even if it was slower I’d use dragonriding.

Today it seems like a nothingburger. In the coming years you will have the old flying players complaining that it takes them twice as long to reach the objective as the dynamic flight players.
It isn’t going to end because they gave them old flying back. It’s not going to end because dynamic flight was nerfed in old content.
You don’t allow this stuff to grow. You kill it before it can.

I’m just glad druids are getting dragonriding. -20% speed isnt that big of a deal, i’ll still use it

Well obviously if it isn’t any faster than normal flight you most likely won’t use it. Why would you use something that requires more work but get less out of it? That’d just be silly.
the ptr has a buf/de buff where the max speed is reduced by 80%

I’d rather be on mounts that are vastly more interesting and creative than basic dragon’s we’ve almost since wrath. Their customizations are only slightly more enjoyable than skins in OW.
Once they make dynamic flying for all the mounts or if they ever do I suppose then I’d probably use it… but again because it is faster.
