Of course a component as to what people like about it is the speed. But you are so one-track minded that you can’t imagine that people like something for more than one reason. Shocking, right? But you are right, TBC styled flying feels excruciatingly slow at this point even more so than it ever felt before.
Previously it was “the best thing we had”. Now it is being compared to something that’s both faster and more fun. But fun is subjective (and is something you have never experienced in your life) so of course folks will use a more objective metric to describe what they like about it.
And of course, more of playing the victim and all that nonsense.
Trolling on forums aren’t really a hobby. Why not try knitting, then maybe you’d actually experience “fun” for the first time in your life.
Yeah because faster means better handling, braking AKA…driving. Oh snap. I sure know when I go to buy an automobile I look at its top speed and not care how it handles.
A accept the fact you are on-track minded and are going to keep ignoring everything you need it to be about like the guy above who is also making really really bad arguments that support me but is too blind to understand basic concepts.
P.S. This thread is about a speed reduction and YOU guys crying about it.
Again, bring the speed down to Old School and then we shall see if the FLYING is actually BETTER or not. The speed will mean nothing. You refuse to accept this because you know I am right. Dynamic Flying is not better without its speed.
Also, I can nose dive under bridges and swoop up in the air with old school because I do not have to only hold down W to move. You have no argument son, move on and cry over the drop in speed.
Watching the forums fill up with threads from those that love dragon flying is a riot. They know damn well that it is nothing without its speed. Just being more interactive with skills does not make it better.
Just move with your mouse while holding down an action button frees you to do any kind of movements with old school only the speed is the difference.
Oh, I don’t care about the drop in speed. It’s only 80%…
And you must have missed what I said above.
"Gamers also notoriously always pick the easiest path, no matter how fun it is.
If both mounts were the same speed 99% of us would just static fly because it’s easier, it just so happens that DR flight is the easier way and it’s fun."
If you enjoy wiggling your mouse to slowly glide under bridges with the static mount animations, more power to you.
Without the added animations of the mount itself and the flashy wind gusts DR flight would be bland and look extremely outdated.
So the only difference is the speed because it isnt actually better. You finally arrived at the point I made originally. Glad you finally accidentally said it.
