LFD was a feature in WotLK. Not adding it means this is not the recreation we were promised. Now, many people including myself would be ok with not having it at launch since that’s how it was originally. Never adding it is not ok though.

They have an infinite array of options available to them, but they simply delete a feature that is controversial and then they’ll cry when we call them lazy again for taking the lazy approach of “improving” the game.
Obviously that person doesn’t know what they are talking about.
You DO have to sit in one spot (doesn’t have to be anywhere in particular) and stay there reading chat until you have a group.
If you aren’t actively spamming for a group or actively watching the spam you will never get a group in TBCC

Few weeks ago everyone were asking/defending 68 boost because “we are here for wrath content”
But now everyone act like they really care about the 1-58 content because they know that most of the group issue come from tanks shortage which will be mostly solved by the huge amount of DKs and dual spec.
Everything else is related to poor server management from Blizzard.
It doesn’t matter whether LFD was a good or bad addition to the game. It was part of WotLK, so it should be part of WotLK Classic.

So you don’t have to read the chat everytime and only have to post every few minutes and wait for the whisps ?
Coming from someone who is leveling up all the classes on a mid pop server so i guess i know what i’m talking about.
Yesterday I was looking to buy a boost and instead got whispered to join. Even though being boosted would have been twice as quick I joined the group. Id take having fun while leveling and it taking 4x longer then just semi afk while leveling. If blizzard ever fixed quest exp in classic to make sense that would be a real option too. When. Mage/pali boosting is so much more efficient then every other kind of leveling there’s little reason to do anything else.
We aren’t playing the way we used to.
I agree “solved” is a bit too much but it’ll greatly help. Why ? Easy dungeons + dual spec + DK being able to tank dungeons in every specs meaning players won’t mind having to tank since they can play with the spec they want to play.
don’t tease us, they better take back that lfd thing, at least wait a bit till they launch it
All the retail tourists making this argument tried to claim #somechanges when they wanted to ruin classic vanilla and tbc with lfd. It’s almost like they believe in #nochanges when it’s most convenient for them.

What if it was available from launch, but stripped of its cross-realm functionality? That’s the part of the system that goes against the Classic philosophy that the devs talked about as to why they’re not having the system.
This isn’t me just being snarky - I’m asking because I honestly don’t remember any more - is that actually true at the end of Wrath? I know they made major changes in the Cataclysm pre-patch but I thought that Frost and Unholy’s ability to tank had been drastically reduced. I mean, sure it will probably still be plenty enough to slog through Heroic dungeons but based on my experiences in TBCC I would not at all be surprised to learn that the tank shortage merely transforms into a healer shortage in Wrath Classic.
Which unfortunately does little to help dead realms. Now sure if they wanted to do smaller groups than region wide that could make sense. As for going against the spirit of classic? Cross realm BG’s which were in since vanilla say hi.

Yes they can tank dungeons with every specs.
You need to remember how we were doing dungeons back then : nearly no cc and pack/aoe every trash. This part of the content was made to be “easy/casual friendly”
I don’t think healer shortage is gonna exist one day.

It doesn’t matter if people are raidlogging or not, as long as they are paying their sub. You can only speak with your wallet.
