I wish someone would ask him about the loss of emblems of frost and triumph that came from doing random dungeons in the dungeon finder.
The big problem is that a lot of players and devs for that matter like to scape goat LFD for problems it had nothing to do with. Because actually addressing those problems would be harder and often force people to acknowledge the role they themselves played in those problems.
Which is exactly what we’ve seen in classic, the issues with community, lack of people in the open world etc… all prevalent but for some reason people are trying to pretend still not having LFD will somehow solve these.

And screw the people not playing on mega servers? Might as well not have it at all then. Removing key features is what goes against the Classic philosophy in my opinion. This isn’t Vanilla or Burning Crusade. I used dungeon finder during original Wrath of the Lich King, and I want to do so again. If you don’t like LFD, then make your own groups manually. That ability has always been in the game.
No, I don’t think you do. I think you’re lying. I’ve tried to start my own groups and it only works on this healer. It almost never works on my dps alts.
What is wrong with you?

The LFD haters are the ones with this attitude. They hate dungeon finder, which is fine, but they want to take away my choice too. That isn’t fine. No one is forced to use it. You can be forming groups manually while I queue in LFD. That’s a win for both sides.

This is not a form of achievement or something, it’s the way i like to play the game. I agree that it’s harder/longer with a DPS tho.
I would be ok with waiting until ICC, but that isn’t what Blizz said.
No they’re not, whichever random dev said it is clearly wrong, the WoW Classic Lead on twitter, Brian Birmingham, is replying to multiple tweets saying they’re firm on removing it. They’re also gimping Dual Spec too.
No one is forced to play Wrath Classic either. That’s a choice you’re making. Playing Retail is another option you could take.
See how that argument works both ways?
So it seems to me a compromise is the best solution. Take the cross-realm component out and most people would be satisfied.

That’s the problem. You can argue with simple logic like this. These people don’t like options, they want to force everyone to play their way. These people are still around, they infest retail as well. Features must always cater to them, not just give them an option, but for it to be the only option.
And unsubbing is another option. I just canceled my sub

You seem to have a poor grasp on the concept of whales. Casuals don’t spend hundreds of $ on shady gold selling sites because, well they play it casually, you know, for fun. Whales are paying to impose their false sense of superiority and hardly ever are they casuals because those are very different mindsets. This last part is from personal experience so make of it what you want, but of all the people I’ve heard admitting to purchasing gold, all of them were among the most competition driven players, so yeah, not casuals.
This is great! Now I can bail on groups after the first sign of trouble again without any consequences. Pesky server communities holding people accountable.
