We will not kill her, but during the final showdown with the BBEG she will show up and do something that wlll allow us to win, but get ‘killed’ by the BBEG before we can kill it. There will be no body left to say she is truely dead so that in time they can bring her back in a big reveal that comes as a shock
Bad writing aside, I think they’ve written Tyrande to the point of where she is now a mortal embodiment of Elune’s Wrath. I think Tyrande, at least the Tyrande that we know and love, is gone.
Now, it’s just Elune’s Wrath, and she’s taken over the body of a mortal powerful enough to bear her insane power.
A lich queen would be god awful… variety is fine or whatever but don’t need every major character/position filled by a woman while all the men are killed off.
Sylvanas will help us killing Tyrande, because she is not the writer’s favorite and nobody can hate the Horde without being labelled as crazy or Dreadlord.
Yes, of course, force them to make a new game and retire this one with a completely difficult company and writers and well… only the visual artist and the systems people. But gamers, not the corporate jockeys that are clueless… I think they made a movie about that, didn’t they?
This made me giggle for truth. People forget sometimes that paid writers have no investment in the story other than that of a paycheck (most of the time).
It’s like a bad soap opera where the character should have died in the fiery crash off the cliff but somehow survives and comes back next season (played by a different actor). Then the character suddenly forge a romantic relationship with the another character who the writers forgot was their child from season one.
Yes, it’s become that bad. I’m waiting for Sylvanas to emerge as the hero because Arthas never died but was instead saved by a Grummie shaman channeling the power of the void (or pineapple pizza) and has been rebuilding his power via an army of undead alpaca.
she’s had a massive power up by whatever is powering her. you saw the smoke come out of her when he hit her. we don’t know what’s going on with that. it’s more of blizz thinking the story doesn’t need to make sense until the very end.
Oh okay, she’s using “special” shadow magic that the writers just pulled out of their rears. That makes the cinematic less of a garbage fire, thanks for clearing that up.
If the NPCs didn’t react like the side characters in a bad anime going “oh no she so pwrful u gais” I would have just assumed it was a shadow bolt.
