Thereās zero reason a āsoloā player would even be playing a healing spec to begin with.
Try the crocodile tears elsewhere.
And how do you expect them to balance that?
If mobs have low enough health threat healers can have an easy time, then dps are going to blow then out of the water.
If you make mobs hit hard enough to not make it a cake walk for tanks then heals and dps are going to get 1 shot.
What do you expect them to do? How do you suggest they balance it?
On top of all of that, you need to factor in the class. Plate wearers are going to have a significantly easier time than a mage is.
You canāt balance it around every single possible scenario.
Except maybe they like to play that spec?
You seem to really not be intelligent enough to grasp this concept. I donāt even play a healer and I can understand some folks just like the class fantasy of it. And solo content should be solo-able by all classes/specs. Itās really that simple.

Ah, yee of lack of knowledge.
We were told we needed to quest in the spec that we wanted the loot for, and that if that spec was healing, we would always be designed to have little boosts here and there so that healer DPS would be not as strong as a specāed DPS, but enough to be able to complete the content in a reasonable time.
So. Yea. If you want healer loot, you have to play as a healer.
Learn your history man, before you bash a playstyle.

My 600 lock takes less damage from melee in 10s than my 590 holy paladin does in 8s.

any delvers get their journey to level 3 or higher ?

It was just fixed. Becoz before, ilevel 550 healer is facerolling Delves with loots of ilevel 603 by having Brann to destroy everything. That was wrong. Now, you cant have ilevel 550 healer faceroll a Delve that drops ilevel 603. Brann is now as powerful as the 550 healer. Get your gear near 603, Brann would destroy that ilevel 603 Delve for you.
my delvers journey bar hasnt budged in days, its sitting at right before 3. clearing zekvir and t10 hasnt added anything to it. i think its either bugged or the journey is capped/ time gated
hate to be the bearer of bad news, but no matter what blizzard stated you were simply hamstringing yourself by doing that content as a healer.
even if (especially if) brann had 100% aggro, healer would be a poor decision.
tanks are in the same boat, but at least they apparently live where healers die.
on any choice where i could tank except prebuff zekvir, switching to dps is better, i do 5x the damage which is far more mitigation than having 3 mobs beat on me 5x longer as a tank.
past that the only advice (i have no problems with +8 as a healer) is to CC and run brann as a healer as well. his healing maximizes your damage as a healer and the cheat death works wonders for the occasional gib mechanic that sneaks through.
It makes sense not to be able to kill an army of cave dwellers as a healer. Healers heal, not keal. Brann should be able to tank but it donāt seem very challenging or fair to just keep one person alive for all the benefits other specs have to go through. I didnāt do the mage towers but was there a healing component in them?
I tank solo 8+ with bran as dps, if bran tanked and I could be dps it would just be easy mode

You can complete delves in a reasonable time as a healer.
If you dislike your results, thatās a you issue, not a game design issue.
It is unreasonable completely to expect that every spec will perform in the exact same way in every piece of content.

I agree, but my solo runs as a healer were more than doable even when delves launched all the way up to T8.
However, ppl have a bad habit of trying to speedrun the content when that strat doesnāt work, maybe for some specs but not for all.
I donāt believe you have an actual good faith argument to make. Period.
If you think that all specs should be equally competitive in all forms of content, okay. Cool.
That will never happen, never has happened; and never should happen. At a certain point, it becomes unreasonable to think that āsoloā players in an MMO want to be healers so much so that theyād forsake entirely in every piece of content their other available specs. Even the suggestion that they would is utterly stupid. Itās so stupid in fact, that Iām annoyed at how much of a response Iām giving on this. They literally have nothing to heal as a healer without a group unless you count the 0/8 nifflen healed quests that you run into exactly four times per expansion.
If you make the active decision to play a healing spec in delves solo (and letās be real clear, this is an overblown claim made only on the forums by intellectually dishonest trolls because people arenāt actually doing this in any meaningful numbers) then you get what you get.
Delves can be cleared as any spec. This is working as intended. Just because you choose to make something more difficult on yourself because of stubbornness doesnāt mean the game needs to be changed to cater to stupidity.
I donāt show up in Arena as a tank spec expecting to hit a 2400 rating. Iām fine with it. This is absolutely no different.
Just got past 3, but I think you only gain journey on +8s or possibly bounties. Thatās all Iāve done and I always get credit when doing those.
Itās solo content buddy, so comparing it to group content is not gonna work. You can believe Iām arguing in good faith or notā¦ nothing I say is going to change your brick unless I agree with you, and I donāt. Butā¦ I thought you were done talking to me? Had to get that last word?
