I for one will be extremely disappointed, both in Blizzard and the community, if this event doesn’t make it live as-is.

inch by inch! Honestly though boats or anything that causes a loading screen probably gets rid of the buff. More testing is needed. This may only affect Classic/Cataclysm zones.
I forget whether it happened in the original, but this event needs to disregard player equipment when they’re infected or we’re going to have 400-500K HP unkillable ghouls that’re basically just going to shut the game down. They need to be as killable as any 120 mob.

Oh it def be ready before then. I’m seeing an early mid to late sep release on this personally. Other then the lag it feels really good. I think the Zombies need a slight buff though. You just tickle with your hits. takes a full on horde to take down anyone of decent gear.
what they did, was have fun.

People that aren’t into PvP aren’t going to magically be into PvP because they see zombies. They’re going to get annoyed that their questing and leveling efforts are being derailed by official efforts with minimal compensation.

I went in, it was nuts, I went to the barber first to play with boneless, I dig it. Can’t decide between milky dead or purple eyes. My stats aren’t as bad as I expected> Funnily enough I got attacked by a zombie at the lower FP, I didn’t flag and just watched NPCs hit him until he exploded AND INFECTED ME.
So what did I do? Flew to great seal, turned into a zombie, exploded on everyone then got back in and logged out. It’s a madhouse, a madhouse!

EZ solution, these events usually only last a few weeks. Don’t sub that month.
When YOUR Fun interferes with MY Fun … I’m going to say KISS OFF.
That’s one reason many don’t like PvP. Because they’re treated as someone else’s “content”.

Attack on capital cities is terrible idea. Game can’t handle 10v10 pvp without lags
That’s a bad solution and you know it.
EDIT: An event like this should be opt-in. Do a short questline to get ‘engaged’ in this event. Otherwise you con orange to everyone involved, zombie or no.

That’s also an issue. I was seeing mobs of like 20+ ghouls. It felt like I was on dial up.
so go and have “your fun” in an instanced zone where you don’t have to associate with the plebs who want to enjoy a limited time event.

Then I guess your best bet is to try to find some safe space bubble to hide in. Because it’s coming and we are ready for it. We have begged for it and now it is here.
