They’ll misbehave but it’s not like there are permanent lasting consequences to a bit of chaotic fun.

Worst case scenario, they just do a server reset to wipe it out and some people couldn’t get to the bank or the AH in major cities.

My only complaint with this event is that the catchup gear is just cloned ICC gear and not the old Undead Cleansing set from the way back when that was removed. This would have been an opportune time to give us a chance to get it again.

That’s not why people look forward to it. It was rarely that trollable, you could get cleansed of it. or cure poison. Or go out questing… It barely bothered me. and it will only last like a month. Heaven forbid something changes the game up a bit for a very short period.

Of course it is. The events most people talk about wanting back were the ones where they could harass other players on their own faction and accept zero responsibility. You know, the events lots of people actually quit over.

I don’t mind if this event happens, but War Mode really needs to be factored into it. As it stands, it’s just PvP with a Transform.

TBH, I think most gankers will be busy spreading the plague to unaffected lowbie zones.

I’ve already prepared a shelter in Val’Sharah, safe from the unsightly aberrations of sickly undead. Thank the Goddess for Order Halls, and my Garrison.
