They had the Balls, and Actually did it!

I hope you’re wrong. I’ve waited so long for something fun to come along, something like this.

I remember being new and seeing my 1st wpvp in Darnassus. That was so fun, exciting and funny.

Then later, when I played horde, seeing players kite the big bosses into Org. So funny!

I miss those days so much. It’s really gotten boring without that creativity.

Forget Orgrimmar and Stormwind, I’m moving in with Brazie the Botanist.

His farm would be the safest place during this zombie invasion :sunflower:.

ha ha just like Ice-T telling me car shield cars go farther in a commercial.

i remember in the original event the scourge zombies was super slow these ones are super fast it’s like there on the t virus lol

So guys… Which should I play during this Event?

Or

Engine limitations force me to slay an opponent in a fight. If I want to play the game, I kind of have to accept the limitations of the engine. Even then, I’d vastly prefer it if they could rephrase it to ‘defeated’. So it’d read ‘Lingxiu has defeated a kobold scrapthief’ or whatever mob it was. Then again, WoW is built on blood and bones, so I can’t expect much restraint from a world born from grimdark inspirations.

Also, it’s program algorithm. I’m not destroying or inconveniencing a being. That doesn’t stop me from empathizing with it on occasion however, and it does disturb me just how coated in blood you get on the march to 120. I’d love more collection or social quests, but WoW is combat-oriented, so gotta roll with the punches.

Also I simply don’t have the patience to do herbalism on the turtle.

If I could get a Death Stranding-esque expansion, focusing on reconnecting and rebuilding Azeroth instead of destroying stuff on it again, ooh boy I’d be there in a heartbeat. I loooooved me some Death Stranding.

EDIT: Also, don’t mistake my reluctance to kill with a refusal to kill. Just that’s a rather heavy decision to make. You’re ending a world after all.

Thats the leap ability. After they use it they should be slower but if they have it off CD look out.

Omg,it’s an AI :scream:

What on earth attracted you to a game like Warcraft? The stuff you say is like the exact opposite of what i expect a warcraft player to say.

Friends pulled me into it. Only stayed in it because of the Tauren. I was actually a hardened Alliance player in the RTSes. XD Got a 120 Warrior that’s been around at least since BC, if not earlier (but I forget exactly when she was made).

How can you enjoy the RTS Story, that was all murder and slavery… I mean with what you described it sounds like the exact opposite of what you enjoy. You sound like someone that needs a game like World of Harvestmoon or Animal Crossing Universe to be a thing.

I’m just going by what happened with the Wrath event, which was Scourge Invasion 2.0.

It lasted about 8 days before we magically found a cure for the Zombification of players, and…poof, no more Zombies running around killing NPCs and lowbies. - I mean, c’mon we turned the lowbie players into zombies and they could come with us on adventures of chaos.

…the forums were full of literally a full ‘forum page’ of complaints and screenshots of WoW Cancellation notifications (either emails or the “goodbye page” seen after cancellation).

There was no part in the event of us trying to find a cure, the NPCs mentioned seeking one, but players never had a chance to contribute to it (ie War Effort style).

I feel like they were planning on having the event last a few weeks with us making progress to finding a cure, but the out pouring of hatred and sudden drop in subs (which only they would be able to see on their end), they decided to just ‘auto complete’ it.

You flip-flopped to get what you want. Most of us do that, everywhere, for what it may bring you such disdain.

Theoretically, this “social event” shouldn’t be any different to you at the present, yet simply because it focuses on bringing negative behaviour to every player solely based on on everyone’s part, that you have a problem with?

Some people do find it fun, even if they if they don’t want to impose such behaviour in reality, but since it’s set in an artificial video game, they’re merely curious over the results?

I would understand and share in the disdain if this was an event that lasted months on end… But its a very limited time thing that only happens once every 5-6 years. It’s okay to be inconvenienced for a small period of time. Let those that enjoy these type of events enjoy them at the full capacity, it’s rare enough to be okay.

Ok, but im drinking it

Again, you’re confusing reluctance with refusal. Humanity was threatened when the Orcs invaded, so push them back with as much force as necessary. I don’t like having to slay them, but all else has failed so physical force it is.

Ye gods man, I just said I don’t want to participate in or be affected by it, that’s all. An opt-out satisfies that just fine, and I have no idea why you’re getting so worked up in a knot about this. If I don’t push Mythic keys, am I somehow in gross transgression of WoW player standards as well? Must I be some power-lusting gremlin that knows no bounds or rest when chasing loot?

The scourge are invading, it’s up to you to use physical force to stop it. Opting out is to allow genocide…

Or if it helps you…

That is this event.
