The point here is that I don’t want to participate in PvP. I had my fill of it back in BC and early Wrath. I don’t want to get in the way of them having their jollies because I know folk like the give-and-take of PvP interactions, but I’m not about that.
Also, RNG basically dictates whether or not I’m going to be seeing a respawn timer because I don’t have a disease cleanser and apparently you need special NPCs to do it, normal Priests can’t cut it. So, practical reasons too.
That’s the thing. Some things just are beyond your control, your standards be damned. Why did you try to spin that old “you’re too getting worked up” narrative seeing as I could just easily direct that back to you? Nobody said anything about mythic keys. Why did you go there?
… According to Warcraft 1? The Orcs were bent on exterminating every last Human they found. WoW’s retcon’s hadn’t happened yet.
I mean, I take an event-long break if I don’t get to play. It’s the point of the game, you take on the challenges you want to and ignore those you don’t. You don’t have to 100% everything my dude.
Because you’re weirdly obsessed with me due to my desire to not engage in this event. To the point of questioning my sanity.
I know it’s just a game. That doesn’t give me license to be inconsiderate and aggressive. Yet this is somehow unfathomable or at the very least unacceptable behavior?
It’s fine. I like that they don’t like it. As much as people refuse to admit it. The people that hate the event make it more fun. The yelling in the channel only feeds the desire to keep going.
Yeah, gonna agree. The name “war” is literally in the game title but pacifists are crying, anyway. At some point you just have to accept there’s no hope and walk away before you lose your own wits, lol.
Disclaimer: I am NOT interested in PvP at all. Ever. But this event? This event was a total blast. I’m really excited for it to come back, but already dreading the care bears who can’t handle just a few weeks of chaos.
I myself have no interest in the event itself, so I will likely take a break and catch up on some other games for a week or so. It really isn’t as big a conundrum as I am seeing the naysayers make it out to be.
You’re allowed to not play WoW; don’t let your feelings of missing out stop you from making rational decisions that will improve your enjoyment of living.
Basically how Blizzard wrote their very warcraft universe. Looking at my very first Warcraft box, it literally says “Warcraft - Orcs and Humans”. They were pitting orcs against humans in their very first game. However it’s telling you decided that the orcs were the “bad guys” right at the start.
Once again, you’d willing to forego playing wow entirely over that singular reason? Don’t direct your antics at me; you were willing to not play wow 100% of the time if they were to impose this much anticipated1 event.
“weirdly obsessed…” “…my sanity” getting uneasy, now are we? If you don’t want to discuss such general things, then…
I’m saying in such situations, there are painfully obvious examples where the two worlds can differ greatly.
