Or they have their own personal moral compass which makes them not do things with which they disagree? As was stated further above… not “everyone” is interested to watch the world burn “once in a while”. To each their own.
seriously though, just because one person is ok with being evil in a mmo doesnt mean everyone has to be ok with being evil. we make our characters to fit the role we like, if you dont want your character to be evil, you shouldnt be forced to.

Yeah bound by their moral compass created in reality. Unable to detach from reality enough to enjoy a fantasy. It’s really quite sad.

How do you figure? anyone that is a lowbie at this point in the expansion has a high level character they can use instead. Being a lowbie during these events is something you do by choice. Also… The expansion comes with a boost so… Really no excuse.

Because…it’s a game. Keyword: game. A computer game, specifically. Some of us can discern between fantasy and reality clearly. What I would never want to happen in reality, I have no problems happening in video games, because…they’re just that.

Because the moral compass of the main character in a game is RARELY going to match your moral compass, if ever. You are limiting yourself for no real reason.

dex you seem to forget not everyone will have the expansion before its fully out, plus its only one boost. “dont be a lowbie” isnt a valid fix for a legit problem
One boost is enough to not be a lowbie.
Don’t be a lowbie for 2 weeks… this is a non-issue.

that could simply be a ptr issue. i remember testing the gilnean start zone. there were quests that just didn’t work. the zones were functional but there are quests that break when put onto ptr. i think its how the ptr servers are set up. they’ll work in beta, but not the ptr servers.

I do think that strictly for the PTR, there should either be a server specifically for the event, or there should be a PTR only option to opt out of it. It’s somewhat difficult to test the other pre-patch changes while ghouls are constantly ravaging you.
For those having trouble testing other things on the ptr due to the event’s disruptive nature. Remember your Garrison is a private space that potentially has target dummies, bank access, guild bank access, and transmog access. The only issue you would have is accessing a barber.
For this, you can try Ironforge/Undercity since those areas may not be as populated. Undercity in particular (if Horde) since it requires you to use the Keeper of Time phase change to access. Sadly Darnassus never had a barber so that isn’t an option (nor does Exodar/Silvermoon).
