The only person lying to themselves is you, the “proof” you took from the EULA is reaching. Cope

Hey, Blizzard’s taking steps to break premades. You’ should cope.

You’re just RPing being this cringey, right?

I don’t even PvP I just think it’s very cringe of you to reach as hard as you are.

They might have some 70 alts on the server. I doubt they’re geared much at all. Chances are, if they start causing any trouble. they’ll just get stomped. There are at least 20 Alliance in any zone at any given time (50+ during peak hours.)

Coordinating AVs like this isn’t cheating. It used to be much easier before Blizzard broke the API so that a single addon couldnt automatically facilitate what is being now being done ‘manually’ via Discord.

If they broke the API to prevent it to begin with, what makes you think this is okay?

The burden isn’t on me to prove anything to you. You’re the one making the assertion that what these players are doing is ‘cheating’ and therefore actionable.

Blizzard also broke the API so that the ‘AutoBuff’ mod (RIP) stopped working. Doesnt mean player who used that mod (e.g. me) were cheating.

At this point, you’re dodging the question.

Nope, sorry. I get that you have infinite time to respond to every reply in this thread rather than backing up your assertions, but LOL @ U CAUCHY.

"They made it impossible to queue as a full 40, broke every addon that made it easier to get into the same AV with 39 other people, definitely not gonna be seen as ‘influencing and/or facilitating gameplay to give you an advantage over other players’ "

Some of you guys really looking like you haven’t seen how Blizzard takes action against people using the ol’ “just game mechanics bro” line. Gonna be laughing at all the future “banned for doing nothing?!?” threads.

Using Discord doesn’t apply to your ’ just game mechanics bro’ snark, but okay. How long should we wait for these threads to appear? Are we also gonna pretend that using Discord (or Ventrillo) ((or TeamSpeak)) hasnt been around since 2004 and Blizzard is banning players for using VoIP software?

Using discord is fine. It’s the queue syncing that’s gonna get you slapped. Most likely going to see a full stop on group queues for AV and staggered queue times for each individual player before same faction AVs come in.

That could happen, but what’s going on in this Discord isn’t ‘cheating’ which is the claim being made in this thread.

Not only does this screw over the Horde, it screws over any Alliance who’s not partaking. Anyone choosing to queue solo, anyone who’s sub-70 or without their epic mount (which would be strange at 70…) will get lumped together in a much weaker group. Random queues at least mix it up so both sides have an equal shot at getting “good” and “bad” players.

No, using Discord isn’t cheating. I’ve never said that and never will. People using reductive logic seem to interpret it that way, and that’s on them. It doesn’t matter how the communication happens… using a communication device to circumvent the queue system is the issue.

Did you know that AV premades were actually extremely popular in the original TBC and vanilla wow? There was even an add-on that made it very easy.

Saw tons of players that were 60 in month 1 of Classic still not buying their epic by the end of Classic. I don’t get it, but some people are really cheap or awful at making gold I guess.

The discord only exists in the first place because there’s so few Alliance queueing that queue syncing is possible in the first place. No one is putting those listed discord rules in place for groups that are dropping disc info at the start of a match.

They were quite rare on my battlegroup. Probably less than 10% of the AVs had one.
