They claim that pre-made teams aren't stacked

Then stop linking it lol

Except 1 thing though. Blizzard has explicitely said this type of behavior is wrong and shouldn’t exist. When have they said it’s wrong for pve? Never?

Provide your proof

They condemned it in their first post when they changed the BG queue system. I’ve linked it recently in another thread. It’s too hard to look up on the phone, but it was easy to find from my PC.

I’m sure you’ve seen it.

Link it again google works just as well on a phone than a pc. Haven’t seen anyone link anything yet

I was actually already on it. I figured you’d work just as hard at looking it up as you like to work in AV. :yum:

It’s cheating because the AV que system is designed to prevent premades of 6+ players.

Your trying to make a 6+ player premade by queue syncing to have a larger premade than what the game is designed to allow.

So yes it is cheating, and seeing the fact blizzard is trying to remove 6+ premades from other BGs as well (currently in testing) we will see if they deem it cheating enough to throw out bans.

It is 100% cheating. Is it a punishable offense? That is yet to be seen.

  • Alterac Valley will now allow parties of up to 5 players to queue together. When a party queues together, they will be placed into the same battleground.
  • There will no longer be a number in the name of the battleground in the “Enter Battle” screen.
  • We’re fixing a setting that allowed the battleground to start with as few as 20 players on a team.

Other than giving a side eye to gy camping, where did they condemn anything?

Section C ii. states,

"Cheating: Create, use, offer, promote, advertise, make available and/or distribute the following or assist therein:

1. cheats; i.e. methods not expressly authorized by Blizzard (whether accomplished using hardware, software, a combination thereof, or otherwise), influencing and/or facilitating gameplay, including exploits of any in-game bugs, and thereby granting you and/or any other user an advantage over other players not using such methods;"

"4. any code and/or software, not expressly authorized by Blizzard, that can be used in connection with the Platform and/or any component or feature thereof which changes and/or facilitates the gameplay or other functionality;"

So, there could be some question as to whether Discord, or any third-party voice communication used to facilitate the formation of groups, communication, and the type of gameplay that that allows for is expressly authorized by Blizzard. Or indeed whether it grants an advantage over other players not using such methods.

By this post specifically they even addressed the issue of bgs starting with too few of players. The issue that was arising from people quing with a ton of people was that they wouldn’t accept the bg invite which would ruin some bgs and make the game start with too few of people.

I’m interpreting this as them not wanting that behavior to happen. Nowhere in here did they explicitly say they don’t want people quing at the same time and getting in voice chat.

It’s sad that the alliance was engaging in such “unfortunate behaviors” that they had to patch the game and make a blue post.

Whether or not it’s against the EULA it appears that the alliance just can’t wean themselves off their unfortunate behaviors. SMH alliance I’m not even mad, I’m just disappointed lol

If you need absolutely everything spelled out for you, you’ll have a tough life.

They didn’t condem a thing this is the biggest stretch in this thread lol

Well I have thought about this and one could easily say that the main reason they had stopped showing the AV numbers because players would receive a queue for a game and when not enough of the others in their ‘discord group’ or whatever were in it, they would not take the queue. This would then cause alliance players that had queued normally by themselves to then be in an AV game where they only had 20/40 players etc. The fact that they also changed the BG so that games would not start with less than 20 players on one side could also be further evidence of this.

But to be honest and fair I am not sure that they even stated why they removed the AV numbers at all, just that they were removing them. So it’s not really accurate for anyone to say why they did it or that they did it for x or y reason unless it had actually been stated what their intention was. I’m not sure something like this can have a rule made against it as there is no real good way to prove that this kind of ‘collusion’ or whatnot had even occurred in the first place since players are using discord to facilitate this interaction.

I’m merely asking where Blizzard condemned queue syncing in Classic. That was your assertion. So yeah, I’m asking you to show me where this happened.

So its against the TOS to have discord for raids too then right? Or to gear check?(which I hate btw but its whatever) or any of the things from that?

Cry more.

They didn’t condemn it. They said there is nothing wrong with it but its not really condoned.

Spelled out for us? Dude the letters aren’t even there to be spelled out at all. You literally just linked that they changed how many people you can q with and the number of the bg is removed. RIGHT AFTER THAT they also explained how they changed bgs are starting with too few people.

If we are spelling anything out here it’s that they didn’t want the premades leaving the q they didn’t like which resulted in broken bgs. If anything is spelled out, it’s this

Not many druids hit that hard.

And if you actually READ the entire blue “condemnation” you’ll see that was strictly about Alliance gy camping in AV. Like that was suddenly griefing.

  • Alterac Valley
    • Spirit Guides now apply Honorless Target to the players they resurrect.
      • Developers’ note: We observed some behavior in Alterac Valley that can only be described as griefing—a violation of the In-Game Code of Conduct. If this had taken place in original WoW, it would have been seen as either a situation that needed to be fixed preventatively or a circumstance that called for account suspensions. We feel that the preventative solution is the more amicable one."

They didn’t say a word about queue syncing.

So once AGAIN Horde cry and Blizzard comes to the rescue.
