I mean it’s not really feasible to see who has ms on your team and then follow them around everywhere.
I’m not M+, and I approve of the change. I’d like to try it out in actualy PvE not whatever the endgame ego content is.

These are not the reasons MM is being changed.
The eagle, or whatever skin they allow you to swap in, is not a pet. It is a spell effect.
Big difference.
Not only that, it is a spell effect chosen to rub salt in the wound that your pet was deleted from MM.

I find it sort of amusing since warlocks have to pull out pets for different utilities still too.

Though the difference is that MM has to put the pet away again for LW, Warlock can just leave the Imp out.

Warlock has it slightly better, you get instant cast pet summon every 3 minutes. Hunters have a 3 second cast to get rid of the pet.
Yeah it’s slightly better, but not much different imo. It’s a 6 sec cast to change a demon without that spell off cd lol.
Well, the main difference that makes it bad for MM is that it’s lust, not a dispel, locked behind the cast.
Also other utility, including some defensive/stopping power, but lust is a big one.

For my marksman I’ve never used the pet and I never touch M+ but yeah them ruining a spec or class because of mythic plus isn’t anything new…they tend to do this in some way all the time of late. I mean wasn’t it like idk shamans possibly sucked in the past for mythic plus or…was it warriors… always hard to keep track of the roller coaster at times
Blizz’s own words say otherwise. It’s a pet. Only without a pet bar, and separate pet commands.
I’m sure my gnome hunter with their robot squirrel, robot rabbit, robot wolf and robot toucan will love having their pets replaced with a generic bird .

It’s not just endgame MM hunters, it’s MOST MM hunters for any content. We want a better class identify for our spec. We’re marksman. We shoot real good. It shouldn’t be a spec with a pet. And no the eagle is not a pet. It’s a toggleable skill.

it’s “Some” MM hunters that want it, and “Some” Mm hunters that don’t. You don’t speak for the MM community any more than they do, and the forums been pretty evenly divided. we won’t know what the Actual community thinks until it goes live and the normies who don’t read the forums, patch notes, or play on the PTR get their hands on it.
