You literally said abuse is when you exploit, and you’ve already said before that exploiting is when you abuse.
That’s tautological.
This is hilarious.
You literally said abuse is when you exploit, and you’ve already said before that exploiting is when you abuse.
That’s tautological.
This is hilarious.
What are the negative effects of this?
And how is this an exploit?
An exploit is what the devs deem an exploit, not you. You don’t define that. The devs initial intention is irrelevant. Unintended functionality may be kept if they decide it should be. We’ve seen many many cases of this particularly with Classic as it is supposed to be a recreation of vanilla.
So no, it is not an exploit. Get over it.
You’re fixated on semantics when this is not adding anything to the conversation. Nice red herring.
Welp just hang tight, WoTLK Classic is just a couple of years away.
I am 99% sure this still works on live. If you get booted from a mythic + or raid it hearths you.
It brings you to the nearest GY on live.
You keep asserting, without evidence, that mob pathing is being exploited.
When you are asked how it is an exploit, you explain that mob pathing is abused.
When you are asked how it is abused, you explain that it is exploited.
So that leaves us with a tautological mess in which you are arguing from a position that you are already correct and that your desired conclusions simply need to happen. Until you can actually justify a definition that is both not a tautology and actually explains how mob pathing mechanics are bad, you’re just putting a thin veneer of authenticity over an argument that is literally the following:
Frex really hates how people play this game and demands Blizzard cater to his personal feelings
The hearth CD on live is also about, 15 minutes. Once the world is condensed in later expansions (bc+) it doesn’t really matter as much if you can’t free hearth because it takes like, a couple minutes max to get around compared to Fly somewhere > wait for boat > fly somewhere.
So uh this effect you’re describing is just wrong, and I don’t remember giving a damn about the change personally, hell I don’t even know when it happened exactly.
I can get to the RTVs solo without any weird pathing usage. So uh, that change might make it harder for people, but it won’t stop them by any means.
You’re not supposed to be able to ping pong mobs by moving side to side on a pilar. That’s how the pathing is being exploited/abused. Same goes for every other farms this pathing is exploited like in Mara.
Why? This is a statement of your opinion, nothing more.
You’re still here:
Flex dislikes this, it must change
Did not know that, thanks.
I support removing ghetto hearthing if and only if we get the same movement options as the expansion it was removed. You said WotLK, correct?
Then a guild perk for half hearthstone cooldown and an expensive, powerful ring that can port you to ironforge/ogrimmar once every hour.
Add those items to classic and you can remove it.
It’s funny because you come across anything that’s broken and prob complain about it but when it’s your beloved wow classic or dm farm you’re like: “iTs WoRkInG aS iNtEnDeD tHo”
I don’t know how you can see the exploitation of mob pathing and think it was intended to be that way. Mind blown.
So abandoning all pretense and just going with an accusation of hypocrisy?
Enjoy your angst troll, but just because things you don’t like exist doesn’t mean they should be fixed.
An attempt at a cogent argument would do you wonders.
Incredulity isn’t an argument.
You’re literally adding nothing to this conversation. Just arguing semantics and then personal attacks. I get you prob like farming DME but recognize it’s broken and it can used a patch up so that it actually works.
Aside from showcasing the weakness of your personal demands and gripes, sure.

No, they’re about the same. This happened 15 years ago too.
Nah. People are in fact better than they were 15 years ago at the game. They’ve had 15 years of practice and the internet has had 15 years to absorb data on the game so even the actual noobs can catch up quick.
Whiners gon whine
