its the same 15 year old game but different players.
if you want that av you mite want to go to private servers but i herd esfand say they do this on private servers.
you will never see the old av imo.
the version of AV in classic people want to lose to get more honor. in the versions of AV in retail they zerg to win as quickly as possible to get their rewards. old school AV will never come back. and it’s not because of anything blizz has done. it’s the players.

Insert a second AV BG. Being the original with the epic battles.
Then both the retail instant gratification players can retain this current version.
Us classic/vanilla players can have the one with the epic battles.
Blizzard can save face.
Everyone wins…

the horde is losing for the honor and we get rep to.we are getting 2.4k+ honor in a loss while the ally rush and get less honor.
the old av is a huge waste of time.
you’d have hours long queues because everyone would be in the “max efficiency” queues. you’re ignoring everything i tell you because you have nostalgia goggles on.
I would be ok with that, to have original AV back…
People didn’t stay for the whole battle , and would be replaced by next person in que.

So Blizzard puts in the 2nd AV BG and then gets to watch the forum posts complaining about how dead their marathon bg is. Thats not everyone winning.
