The event was fun for about 24 hours. Horde have now officially taken over. Every hour it’s now about 200 horde hopping around picking off a handful of alliance. There’s no longer even any possibility for alliance to acquire honor from this event.
The only way this might be able to be fixed is if alliance are buffed extrodinarily in proportion to how many are alive and in the mountain. 10 alliance and 200 horde? Okay, each ally player should have a buff increasing all stats and damage by 2000% making each one effectively a raid boss.
I know some may scoff at this idea but its either that or the event is entirely cooked for good.

Orrrrrrrr … Alliance can get an equal number of players and fight the Horde.
PvP problems require PvP solutions.

It’s impossible since blizzard allowed transfers off the servers and permanently wrecked server balance.
It also didn’t help that they left shamans OP for months.
The real solution is to just have it be the same as STV, with a max group size of 40.

Can’t you guys just call up the alliance discord and get a legion of MHPs to come dig you out?
Orrrrrrrr… Horde should reroll alliance to balance out the pvp community instead of choosing the curbstomp faction to never have to risk facing a loss.

Its this attitude right here that killed the alliance morale. Players like you believe it and repeat it and then others believe it and reroll. You are practically speed running your faction’s demise.

Yep that must be it. Its because alliance morale is down that server populations have had a 40% sway from alliance to horde inbetween p3 and p4.
Nothing to do with stronger classes / racials and players wanting to be on the fotm class / faction in every iteration of wow.
Its because of morale.

Yup its the harsh truth. You guys killed the faction with your never ending doom and gloom. You’ve been killing it since 2005 so its no wonder why nobody wants to play with you.

This is the thing. Notice op admits the event is fun when Alliance have the zerg. As soon as Horde contest, it’s no longer fun. We had to suck this up at BFD, Ashenvale, DMF, etc. Ally can too!

lol it’s cheeks due to faction imbalance due to blizz allowing server transfers off CS and a lot of FOTM rerolling shamans cause they’re still busted.
Every layer is horde dominated easily 10-1 alliance. Maybe they should make the event similar to STV–5 mans only, FFA. At least it would make it possible for alliance to even get honor from the event. If not people are just going to quit and the imbalance will just escalate further.

There’s never going to be a time where alliance dominates with the balance on CS. It’s a numbers game which horde have a big advantage now. This is mainly on blizz with letting ppl transfer off and less about shamans.
Even if you gave alliance shamans it doesnt fix the change of factions numbers from p3 to p4.
