I don’t think we can get 8 coffer keys per week, can we? We get 4 guaranteed and then maybe 2 through shards? I’m not tracking how many shards we get but maybe I’m missing just how many keys.
And even if my estimate is correct, I know that’s only ~33% different, but add on the fact that duplicates are a real thing and the loot table isn’t as “targetable” as M+ where if you want a certain trinket, you can run an M2 over and over again and not be denied loot for any other reason - game mechanics-speaking - due to rng.
I also humbly submit that this gear track is available to everyone. And that if folks want to climb out of 4/8 track champ gear that delves will typically hardstop you, M+ is where players would need to migrate.
I thought I was getting 75/100 shards, but I can’t remember if that’s once or twice a week. I’m not sure if there are other ways of getting them other than WQ.
Yep, you can. I have done it 2 weeks now, this week im on track to only get 7 because i flubbed a echo group that started after i did so i missed out.
But you get your 4 from the weekly activites.
You can get about 10 echos a week and if you turn in 5 echos at once, and do a memory with 5 DPS, you can EASY get 150+ fragments, i have gotten to 170 before with just 3 people so it also depends on which memory you are doing.
But from taht alone you get 4 from the weekly, about 3.5 from echos, and then you can usually pick up the final fragments needed from the WQ when they pop up.
The people that delves and story mode are meant for, casual players, aren’t concerned with gear. It’s nice to get, but it’s about the content, not the end result.
Not everyone thinks this game is about getting the highest ilvl.
You get 25 for earning 100 points when doing the world soul mini games. If you have 5 you can get 125 shards for the “second tier mini game” and completing 100 points. And I got 175 shards for getting 300 points in the “third tier mini game” in a raid group.
Once you start doing echos, especially if oyu group for them, you will start to see what i mean by “Delves loot level is fine, but the amount they give you is insane.”
I think these are good ideas.
I can’t use a mic, people around me don’t want to listen to me while i am playing games.
Being able to do these things make sure that you are able to play the story elements.
If you want to do dungeons to get gear you still have to find a group.
And no need to go to wowhead or YT to find out how to do the dungeon effectively.
You aren’t the target audience for this stuff. Neither is Vhx. Therein lies the distinction. Which is fine. I still run Followers, I’m still only 596ish and I could care less about the crest, I’m mad I can’t re-run that last fight. lol
I’m not sure how, when it’s all RNG and we’re still limited on keys. If I see one more trinket, I may scream. LOL

I got… 35 in a 5 echo raid group. So my 5 echoes were wasted entirely. I haven’t attempted since. But I’ve only got 4 echoes anyway. I haven’t been getting them.
Also, Warbands. The fact that all of my account characters, regardless of realm or faction can access the millions in gold and mats from my main makes it all worth it. Would love to see more Follower Dungeons (Classic - SL), Follower Heroics, Follower Raids (lower level loot), Follower BGs (reduced reward of tokens), and Follower Quests where you get a companion / bodyguard the way we did in Legion.
The companion/bodyguard system was pretty cool in in legion, but i dont think the follower dungoen thing will carry forward for much longer.
Its such a trivial and novelty i dont see the point of it. You use follower dungoens the one time you need to do the dungon and thats it.
If the idea of it was “Oh hey you can use this to learn the dungeon” i would be behind it, but because the mechanics of dungeons change between normal and mythic, they dont really do that job at all.
Unless Follower dungeons are applied to mythic mechanics, i honstly would rather hanve them just scrap the follower dungeon idea and just buff the player character or nerf the dungeon mobs so you can just solo it.
I have leveled 2 out of the 5 level 80 Warlocks I have currently just by follower dungeons so if you or others only do them once that’s cool, I like doing them again and again that way.
An expanded system wouldn’t be an issue just don’t use it if you don’t want to since you claim you don’t anyway, it won’t hurt you any if it’s added.
See i could get behind this one with you, except they really dont.
No one learns anything on heroic becuase the mechanics they have are not the full mechanics of the Mythic version which is honstly the verison most people will end up doing over and over.
So if it was actually prepareing you for that? Sure. But it does not so that i find to be an issue.
Do you play any other MMORPGs? Story mode/follower dungeons are a huge thing. It took WoW way too long to implement them. I still run them and will continue to do so, because I’d rather learn these places and do quests in a follower dungeon— and the weekly quest allows me to do it on follower mode.
Heck, I still do them in SWTOR, too.

Yeah In delves if you make a mistake you suffer, in M+ if other make a mistake you suffer
Clearly nobody wants to do M+ if there are other independent options than dependent ones available.
If anything delves proves the social structure in this game is a big failure and M+ definitely is not improving that despite requiring Co-operation
If anything they should actually make it better to show if players preferring playing with others or soloing .
Absolutely not , you or I alone not enough for this disastor . I t would take absolutely years and years of player resentment to get to this point and guess what M+had those years.
