There's a Community Council thread trying to bring Warforging back

You ever spent any time chatting with gms of mythic guilds about how hars the work to put out fires?

Upgradable gear with a set currency would do that job a lot better. RNG on top of RNG is bad for the game and I think tertiary stats should be given the same treatment as sockets.

Yes but I means you could only have a few damage events every 3-4 mins instead of double. Mythic sylv last phase for example you couldn’t have big heavy damage patterns

Using ML is abusing it? Thank you for confirming it should be removed. We got there in the end <3

Some of you don’t seem to realize that those who are HAPPY with the game and features DONT COME HERE TO COMPLAIN.

then people would complain about grinding for currency to get said gear
or the RMT arguement

idk, i didnt think WF added that much of an edge between players

Isn’t that what the Cough “Community Council” is now?
A council chose based on a player’s popularity with Blizzard. Not based on their Popularity with the Community but on Blizzard’s belief they will push what Blizzard expects of them so they keep their shiny green text.

The alternative is grinding for double RNG loot.

its kind of a no-win situation, i guess
depends on if you truly like grinding for currency or the gear itself
idk which is better lol

Souls be renamed to Blizzard counsel lol

If it is, I’m not sure why I won.

Outside of a few tickets over the years I’ve never had any direct communication with blizzard.

Grinding currency is objectively better because you only need to go through one (a lot easier) layer of RNG. People will always complain no matter what, might as well give the best alternative out of the two.

Lol not at all. You think it would be a bad idea if you could have it on all the time. Whether you think it would be a bad or good thing for your raids to have ml I believe you because you can influence the outcome.

I’m not really even pushing for ml back just PL without the restrictions.
Like I said. No is a complete sentance and if people don’t want to work with thier raid to gear up in the most efficient way possible they shouldnt.

When I was raiding in 8.3 and having these discussion s there was one thing in common with everyone who was against it. I was better geared than all of them

That’s how it “should” work, your right. Idealism isn’t the 100% true reality of the playerbase of this game. Ideally PL is unrestricted and everyone is happy and no GM or council tries to push players to trade their gear or face restrictions and we all hold hands into the sunset. If games could count on that being normal behavior game design in general would be alot different than it is.

Just like in real life, ideally everyone pays their dues and helps where they should and we all get along. But no.

This ^

Guiskds cannot afford to be hemoraging players more than they already are.

I know how hard the work is, I led a humble middle progress mythic guild in BFA for nya and experience the same pain points you talk about with the recruitment revolving door and trying to stamp out fires to avoid the raider drought. Has not changed my stance. I think putting the burden of organization on the guild master is better design than the player.

Again 20m size is the culprit here. It’s too big to form a group of raiders with connections. You will always have those 4-5 players who are just there to get progress and leave with size that big.

Wait so now you are a fan of master loot? Because that’s what that is. Burden of organising who gets what loot onto the raid lead not the individuals in the raid…

Yea and with a small raid the fights get dull. That’s why they went from 25 to 20 to find a middle ground.

no the burden is removed from the raid lead because he has all the power. Burden is on the player because they are at mercy on the GM. It’s not burden running a loot council, it’s amazing when your the gm.

the whole “you shouldnt get gear cas your new” notion is the product of shifting problems to individuals. The GM is safeguarding himself against possible leavers and shifting organziation burden to the player.

I didn’t say people shouldn’t get gear because they are new. You are putting words in my mouth now and I will kindly ask you not to since I didn’t say that and I do t want you misrepresenting me

Where did I say you said that.
