Ironic that I’m 2 sentence you manage to be disparaging to people who like ml and say they don’t listen and then demonstrate that you don’t listen to them at all all in 1 sentance.
I want to give away my gear to help my friends pl won’t let me. If it had no trading restrictions I wouldn’t mind pl at all. But it does. So the system is awful. Its not really my gear if I can’t do what I want to with it.
Na dw they don’t take anything we say seriously. If they did the last 3 expacs would have launched much closer to how the finished.
RNG legos
Azerite issues
Essences
Corruption
Swappable covenabts
Conduit energy
To list a few of the things we told them in thier respective beta wous be an issue which they went live with anyway only to later fix
On the forums when you ask for people to say why they don’t like ml they either speak in general terms or give examples that are pretty much alway pre legion
I haven’t seen a single person saying pl should go away. Just they they would like options
The illusion of an option. Just like pre-ML removal, all the M guilds and most H guilds will be running ML because why not. Why would a president willingly remove his power over the system? That’s what ML is. The GM willingly removing his power over the system. It’s a choice for the GM not the players. When all the GMs are collectively using a system, it’s an illusion of options.
Large groups like that don’t lend themselves toe “esoortsification” smaller content does. Which is why the mdi and tgp and awc are things and the world first race is a community run thing.
Only if you don’t want the same level of depth in the encounters. In a 20 man raid you can assume the group has all utility. Gateways and stampeding roar and life grips etc. In 10 man you can’t.
Thats a disagree. Larger raid size allows you to more easily see each person as a damage number and not a person. The 10man heroic raid guilds have been some of the most hospitable I have seen around.
Idk, raid design typically is that those tools help you make up for mistakes but are not required to clear. This reminds me of when one of my groups kept arguing we needed roar to clear the boss and I was just walking my slow dk butt to the mechanic just fine like “guys, preposition and get ready to move before and it’s fine”.
I think it’s more the case that in a 20-man raid you can assume the group has 10 people that have been playing the same characters for 15 years and you have another 10 people playing FOTM classes.
If ml is as hated as you think then people could make PL guilds and people would flock to them.
Have you been in a mythic guild lately? I would guess not since then you would understand how hard it is to actually keep 20 people playing the game atm. Guilds can’t afford to push players away since they need 20 or more to be able to keep raiding.
I hate ML but if given the option will use it because as the GM it is literally only advantages. It gives me all the power, why would I ever disable it. As a player vs a bad gm, it’s get rekt central.
By this logic no guild drama would ever exist because they cant afford to push players away but we both no that isn’t true.
Sylvanas you cannot run out of the wail without a speed boost and since sje jumps to the biggest group of players that means like half you raid needs speed boosts for it. Also healing cds need to be allocated to certain mechanics. The incoming damage bursts would need to be far less significant so they don’t require a CD if there are only 2 healers.
I agree I would love 10 man raiding but I don’t want the encounter to suffer to allow for it. Having a middle ground where the encounters are made for 20 but can scale to 10?sure but it would undoubtedly be much harder.
The people on the Community Council represent themselves, and they’re going to have opinions about what they think the game should have and shouldn’t have. You’re going to see opinions you don’t like and that’s fine.
Rest assured, Blizzard isn’t going to bring back titanforging or warforging. There was a LOT of negative feedback about that system, which is why it was removed in the first place.
This is also with the frame of reference that current raid is designed more or less for 4-5 healers so of course it will limit test for 4-5 healers. A 10m raid would be designed around limit testing 2-3 healers.
People need to learn that “no” is a complete sentance.
If you don’t want to raid in a group that has those rules that you chose to join then you leave and take your loot. Thus fixing the “stuck for months trialing not getting loot” which is pretty bogus anyways I have never seen a guild where trials get 0 loot. Lower prio sure but often trials are not in for prog anyway so farm bosses they get loot rained on them.
Personally I have never got more loot than my first night with a guild in WoD. I actually felt bad about how little dps I was doing and how much loot I was getting soni started pretending I didn’t need it but the inspected me and gave it to me anyway lol.
