I have boosted 2 characters to 60 so far, all of the new 9.1.5 catch-up features are amazing but when it comes to conduits, things don’t feel right.
My 60 I’ve boosted today is full 220 conq gear, 60 something renown (and gaining more, fast), 262 legendary. I have 3 conduits which are given initially by the covenant campaign quest that are 145 ilvl, the finesse one and the endurance one given are so bad it’s not even worth slotting.
I have no real way of targetting or acquiring conduits I actually need. All I can do is pray I RNG get them out of jailer weekly, or the daily callings. World Quests are hit or miss - I only have 2 WQ that award conduits and they are for holy spec. I have a full unlocked soulbind tree with one conduit slotted.
There should be an item that you can buy for gold that discovers all conduits for an alt at ilvl 184. Conduits and The Box of Many Things not being account wide are, in my opinion, the final 2 hurdles of making alting enjoyable.

They probably wont do it. Conduits are the absolute worst system they ever put in the game. Best way to deal with them is to unsub. Its psychological and sadistic timesink which bean counters get aroused immediately. Obviously it does not work since people are quitting everyday.

The fact conduits have ilvl is dumb.
If you remove that the problem is solved.
They do come with time but my resto shaman didnt have conduits forever because of having to do wqs which i hate.

conduits should’ve just scaled with renown level imo.
or made it so we can spend anima to upgrade them.
or made them scale off your ilvl
or anything that would’ve given players a bit more agency on how they upgrade instead of “hope you get a conduit you actually want from that torghast/korthia token!”
The best thing I did to mitigate the irritation of conduits is to not play it as a main if you switch, just play it as an alt and then all of a sudden you’re maxed out again.
Blizzard really hates people playing their game, it’s weird. I would play more and I am sure a whole lot of people would, if you could switch to an alt after you progressed to key points as your main over the course of an expansion.

You already have conquest gear so i m guessing you already have done this but if you havent then there are a few conduits sold by honor and conquest vendor , but there is no way to get SPECIFIC conduits atm 
. I have 2 alts those are 210 and they have just 3 conduits lol and those are from the quest ,just been doing callings and after almost 2 weeks still waiting but no conduit has dropped from callings .
Yeah I need to get the conquest on the alts first do purchase those. I just did the 3 callings I had and got 0 conduits only grey vendor trash rofl.
Mythic plus conduits drop at 226 on +15. Those are close to targetable as you can get. The world bosses have a chance to drop your covenduit at 200. The power difference is noticeable, but not overwhelmingly so.
But yeah. My conduits are 239/252 from the raid because I hate Korthia and everything is stands for. I’m mainly an m+ player, and I’m already forced to raid for sockets so I’m not subjecting myself to mindlessly grinding Korthia as well.
Conduits suck. A lot. They should be better. Targetable, and also available from end game content. Locking player power behind world quests blows.
Well there is a good amount of gold gathered from the callings + there is a mount so doing them would only be better as you do need conduits so more the stuff moore the better 
Yeah I know M+ is probably the best way but nobody is going to invite fresh alts to things probably anything higher than 5 LOL. So sad.
Are you completely new to the game?
For one, world quests will throw conduits at you like crazy.
Secondly, you can go join a rift group in Korthia and farm conduit upgrades like crazy.
The korthia rep is so so so so so so so so so easy now i cant believe it i just do 1 round for like 30 mins to hour on just main and i get 5k rep just from killing rares and doing the quests . And if i do the rift farming which i did on first day when i saw its dropping so much i got 9k rep in about 20 mins . What i want to say its not mindless farm anymore as it was before .

No they do not? I have only 2 on the map, both for holy. That’s it. I also did all 3 callings and got 0.
Korthia rift farming is slow on a fresh character. It only really ramps up at t5+. It’s garbage design to use 252 conduit upgrade items to get undiscovered ilvl 145s. Really awful.
Are you aware that they drastically increased the 226 version drop rates in Korthia? Looting nests and all that should give you a few every day.
There is a BOA item that you can send from your main if u have t6 on main that makes the rep 50% more from items which is very handy . And yes wq gives 1 or 2 daily but the spec is random .
Yeah, you get maybe 3 a day max, which once again will discover ilvl 145s. It’s simply too slow. idk why you defend this garbage system man lol. Feels awful using those upgrade items to get 145s or to upgrade 145s to 156, 171, 184. 4 upgrade items just to get an undiscovered 145 to 184, and it won’t even upgrade it directly like that, it will instead discover other 145s.
which then forces you to hoard them and pray for RNG as I said.
I just leveled a protection pally to 60 and I had all my 252’s faily quickly, i’d say within 2 weeks.
its still not that good of rep till t5+, which takes hours. You get around 1kish 1.5k until then. 3k for one 252 item to discover a 145
Just think what we who are playing since start of shadowlands felt when there was no bad luck protection , as now you only get SPEC lvl/find upgrades .
