I agree with the op. Took a long break and came back and leveling the conduits up as I’m doing now is not something I could see being alt friendly at all. The problem with it is that a 252 token only will move it one notch up and not at the il of the token. Makes it way more tedious than simply replacing gear is.
The conduit system is the reason why I won’t level new alts
Yep. It feels awful to not have them on certain specs. Especially coming from a character that has all 252s.
I would play 12+ hours everyday every spec If I could just spam BGs for full gear and conduits. For the rest of the expansion. Instead I already unsubbed.
Why?
not much else to spend gold on in this game and i hate leveling
Boosts are 60 dollars right? So that’s 8 tokens for 2 boosts? So you spent 1.6ish million gold because you hate leveling? I’d say you do. More power to you.
There’s your first problem, you’re trying to pvp in this expansion. I would go as far as to say people who enjoy pvp in this expansion are CoD nut jobs.
I actually think that is the biggest problem. They don’t appeal to all type of players. This game is capable of doing so. It would be nice it people could acknowledge this. They have done it numerous times in the past. PVP included. There was a massive cut to leisure activities this expansion too. I actually enjoyed these aspects. I honestly would like if they would do a nice big map for PVP next expansion.
It would also be nice to keep the more competitive players in a competitive field than having animosity in PVE content. Which Blizzard has strongly reinforced and wonder why less people participate in raids/keys nowadays. It’s most definitely not a friendly environment towards newcomers of the game (this is one of the reasons), which should be seen as a huge problem in itself.
Then they wonder how the community has become more “toxic” overtime but this is the environment that has been created for the players. They did this.
Instead of:
- Cooperative games cultivate emotional development.
- Shared decision making.
- Positive self-esteem.
- Creative problem solving and develop a sense of community in a non-stressful play environment.
For PVE content. They were too busy making trying to make it an esport and foster an environment that would be hard for anyone to participate in. Also wonder where most of the negativity from the players have come from, but they have encouraged this behavior. Then shun what they are responsible for?
PVP is literal players versus players. I feel like where most competitive play should be and I am supportive of it in its respected field. I don’t mind PVP myself, if it is done right. I personally enjoy big group dynamics one too, why I mentioned a big map. (Everyone is different tho.)
