I know right? I hope the few Paladin tank and lone warrior tank I had today know they’re obsolete. It seems like they didn’t get the memo they don’t exist.

Would be extremely surprised if they don’t nerf blood dks. They said they would nerf/buff huge statistical anomalies, blood dks being literally 20x more popular than prot warriors seems to warrant a tuning pass.

Buffing warriors doesn’t solve the fact that blood dks would still be 3-4x more popular than any other tank. The distribution excluding the outliers (dk, warrior) is the ideal. Buffing every other tank to their level would be redundant and then require a whole retuning of DPS. Now you’re changing the entire game.

players will naturally, at the start of an expansion that is well documented as having a strong tank, choose to reroll as that strong tank.
This is especially true when cata adds further class homogenization, removing the penalty for stacking tanks of the same class.
That being said, all content is full clearable with all tank classes, it’s just a bit easier on blood DKs. This does not mean that all other tanks are dogpoo.
Warrior tanks suffer further as they have a very strong and in demand DPS spec, so just play that instead.

Just because Blood DKs are top tanks, top damage and top healing, doesn’t mean there’s a problem, it just means that we’re that much more skilled than everyone else.

The BDKs I play with in Heroic PUGs don’t use CDs, they’re basically DPS DKs. They take as much damage as a melee dps YOLOing.
If I’m gonna get a noob tank, I’d rather it be a Warrior because then at least stuff is being Shockwaved, hopefully… (I’ve had Prots that had zero casts of Shockwave and weren’t using Rend or Thunderclap either, so basically not using their best talents)

Well they should buff all the Tanks up too Blood level. Fix many existing QoL problems for those tanks.
Obviously playing OP Blood is fun and that fun should remain. Just buff other Tanks to OP levels so more fun happens.
Everyone knows in Cata Blood is God tier and playing an expansion ahead of everyone else. Of course they are super popular. Nothing is more fun than being a God.
People chase the meta. But they don’t have to, they just choose to. Don’t be a sheep.
