There is no reason to support RDF

Yea so you’re just genna be one of those guys who denies every single player of this game who says “I had a bad experience with RDF.”

You can go away. People in hardcore denial serve no purpose in a discussion.

“I had a bad experience with RDF” isn’t a reason to not have RDF. Nobody is forcing you to use RDF even if its added. You can still make your party manually using the inferior broken LFG tool we current have.

It came more during Cataclysm, I agree, with all the extra BoA’s. I remember 3 from wrath, Shoulders Chest and Weapon.

That combined with RDF really added to it, and the whole redesigning of dungeon quests and splitting the dungeons into little bits in Cataclysm and the bonus dailies and everything exacerbated it greatly.

Still, though, it was fundamentally a lot easier to level because you could just grind dungeons all day, and I know a ton of people who began their altmania at the end of WotLK through RDF. I know people will say “it was because of the content draught” (drought or draught, btw? i never can remember) but nobody wanted to quest to max before.

And I agree with your second paragraph

I don’t want PVPers to be able to que from anywhere. (this can exploited in pvp servers)

I want PVPers to be lovingly given a cool “pvp hub” not the back of stormwind…or the bottom of shattrath. Honestly wrath has one of the coolest pvp hubs of all time. I want PVPers spending time there. It would also be cool if we could duel each other down there. I’d like that.

Nobody is forcing you to fly, you can walk through BfA.

Sound familiar?

Trolls really coming out of the woodwork lately.

Or, more likely, one or two people making these troll threads on a variety of characters.

Coming from Zaalg lmfao

Um yes significant amount of players voicing a bad experience with a system is EXACTLY the time to change a system. (not even remove entirely. Just change.)

When the heck else would you determine that a system needs changing?

Fair response. Consistency of point is admirable.

This is a cool idea, like the place in the deeprun tram kind of? Dalaran has the sewers for pvpers and it sounds like the spirit of what you want is there just not the locale, which I understand.

The inverse is currently true though, why dismiss the people who it would help or be a bonus for?

You can manually form every single dungeon group you do. Invite only guildies and friends. RDF doesn’t impact that in the slightest.

The truth is you made a troll thread to push peoples’ buttons and you’ve succeeded. Well done.

Yea I think the Dalaran sewers are super cool. I will not complain about having to que there.

I also even liked Ashran a bit as a pvp hub. You know give us some dummies to hit. And you could actually duel in Ashran which was nice.

My problem with both of those pvp hubs is simple (and small) that it’s too dark. Idk why you would design an area that gives your players seasonal depression.

You can run to your destination. The people flying don’t impact you in the slightest.

Hell we should fly in Azeroth I’m all for options.

Void Elves, too.

No, but considering that people attempting to make parties manually while RDF (or a similar system) is in place would never succeed, it still affects everyone regardless.

Also considering RDF is just used to content grind, which is antithetical to the “journey and community of Classic”, it’s not needed anyway.

Remember? Classic was about community and “the journey”?

Of course not, because you just want to grind your way to the raids so you can grind through those, get to the other end and claim your “FIRST!” title.

Considering this ^ is your only goal, MMOs aren’t really your type of game.

I totally agree. You’ve been everywhere. When are you gonna stop trolling every thread while not actually contributing to any of them?

I think it was an attempt to make the PVP areas seem like fight clubs or some underground secret thing. Glad they moved away from it if that was the case(no proof just observations).
WG and Ashran were really fun “World BG’s”

Bro don’t just tell me to play the game differently. You think I’m not playing every expansion in the most fun way I see possible? You think literally ANYBODY is engaging in any hobby or video game in a way they DON’T find fun?

Also I’m asking YOU guys why WE need to accept a system that we hate. When we are offering to solve ALL of your guys’ complaints with compromises.

Lack of changes? Yeah, you’re a troll. Sorry, but Wrath has been changed. It’s on retail code, with retail features. You have to be a troll cause this is the first time on the forums I’ve heard anyone say something this dumb over the RDF discussion. Maybe look up #somechanges? Lack of attention from Blizzard, absolutely.

Funny you should mention that, cause…LFD solved that by linking “Battlegroups” together…so that you can understand, it’s like an early version of cross-platform so that people could get groups at odd hours, on low pop servers, or for content that wasn’t really relevant at the moment.

Um, you do know that it’s 2022 and not 2008? Like Myspace was a thing when Wrath dropped. Do you even know what Myspace was? Also, we beat this xpac the first time around, you think it’s going to stump us on the 2nd go around 14 years later? Do you read what you type? Asking for a friend…

Also, are you FOR changes or against them? I just can’t tell…it’s like you got behind the wheel of the troll car, but drove through a copium fog bank, and now you’re just high and want a sub so you’re typing whatever your brain can think of…

One million percent okay with THIS. If RDF/LFD keeps that crowd out, it’s even more incentive to add it.

Tell me you never played Wrath when it dropped and or can’t keep up with the times…without telling me you didn’t play Wrath and can’t keep up.

Eh I hated Ashran itself. (I like it a bit more now compared to other epic BGs tho). I just appreciated the pvp hub. Shadowlands has no pvp hub and it makes me made as hell. Also no new BG.

Isn’t this why you have friends and guilds? Are you saying your friends and guild mates want nothing to do with you once RDF happens?

Personally I am way more anti cross server PvE content than RDF.

That feels far more destructive to what classic is about.

Cross server means you are running with people who can ninja with no consequences, and people you wont be able to guild with or quest with. Unless you are asking for full cross server everything like retail which uh… no thanks.

Same server RDF in which you walk to a dungeon feels perfectly OK with me… idk.

There’s a lot shadowlands doesn’t have that it should and too much that it does have shouldn’t be there.

I like large scale PVP battles, even though its old and busted Alterac Valley is my BG home.

The hub was the best thing about Ashran for sure, would like more places like that.
