At least my future alts will have it easy doing the 9.0 content.

Good. Let us enjoy the new zones for a little while before flying eventually arrives as a catch-up mechanic.

The 4 major zones and Oribos seem like they would be fine with flying, but I really feel like flying would absolutely destroy the maw.

Call me crazy but I loved that you couldn’t mount there for the longest time. It became less interesting once the content was no longer relevant, but for that first few months killing a piece of horde scum far, far away from Venari felt reallly good. And the consequence of the walk back vs picking a fight with an elite we hadn’t yet out geared, it was nicely done.

I hope we see more giant walking-only zones in the future, but maybe with a roof instead of a skybox to tamper the forum tears.

Maybe I’ll be able to find the one pixel in Revendreth I need to fully explore the zone…even though, looking at my map, the zone looks fully opened.

Eh, we don’t really need to fly in Korthia. I was actually genuinely impressed at the sheer lack of annoying terrain.

Plenty of aggressive mobs, but eh, I suppose you can just use a barding and not worry about the mobs. Same goes for the Maw.

Now, in places like Revendreth and Bastion… frick yes, flying will be awesome.

Getting flying will make it far easier to level my alts (like this dude who may turn into a main).

I would have to say that the real unsung hero is the removal of the Jailer’s Eye and allowing us to mount up in the Maw without having to grind Choregast.

That opens up a whole new zone that I have been 90% avoiding other than the weekly souls quest.

I remember how big a draw wow flying was in its early days. Like not only was the ability to fly awesome but there were cool mounts to farm. Oh and tieing it to the economy was great. Think of how much more important crafting was in vanilla and tbc so you could buy the mounts…

Sad they hate flying so much. I just want to have fun why is that an issue always lol
