Has anyone ever thought about this? They’re literally everywhere you look! I think Blizzard just used them as a good throw away enemy but holy moly you’d think that more ogres them came to Azeroth than orcs.

As much as I would like playable Ogres, Blizzard would have to balance it out and actually give Alliance a new race which they will never do.
They have an island of female ogres, probably helps their population numbers. 
Ogres and Furbolgs, and have them not relate to whats going on in the xpac at all, that’s my dream

There’s also the slight problem that they are too big to fit through most doors.
A bird chirps in the woods two minutes before it normally does.
Entire furbolg tribe: WE ARE CORRUPTED! MURDER! PANDEMONIUM! BEDLAM!

Just make them tauren sized, or a little bigger. I think anyone who wants ogres would accept this compromise over them never being added or something really lame like the mok’nathal

Players want Ogres because they’re as big as a small house. They’d be rather upset at minature versions of them.
Making them Tauren sized is the only way they would be playable. People need to understand that

I don’t think thats the main appeal honestly. It may be a factor but if its between that or not having them I think people would overlook it.
Could maybe make them come from a tribe that’s as tall as Tauran.

As someone who’s wanted to play a two-headed Ogre Mage or Warlock for years. I accept this compromise.

While I would like this and had this idea back in WotLK, I hate to say it, Alliance getting yet another “Human” race is really not doing us any favors at this point.
I had actually hoped for Gnolls when the revamp of there models happend. I was actually confident Alliance would have Gnolls as the Worgen allied race.
But like a Stormtrooper with a blaster, Blizzard misses the mark.
If they do make Orges playable you certainly better hope it is the two-headed ones, the one headed orges can’t even be casters? lol
I may be wrong, but this theory also amuses me a lot. 
Yeah, I think the addition of the Kul Tiran as a separate race pretty much killed any chance of Vrykul being playable. Maybe they could add more Vrykul-esque customizations to the Kul Tirans.
Eh, not sure why Gnolls would ever want to be in the Alliance nor the Alliance (especially Humans) would want them either. I think Furbolgs, who also got revamped models, would be a better option with their close ties to the N.Elves.
You were confident the race that is basically Trolls but hyenas would be an Alliance race? They make tents out of human skin…

If they were to do Orgres, I would like them to remember they… were once a sophisticated civilization—The decline of the ogres was basically a cliff. New Goria seems like a good thing to me to be building instead of squatting in ruins and acting like they have a general IQ of 6.
