There are no private servers that run this event meaning right now in pre-patch will be the only time in our life times where we will be able to experience the zombie invasion again.
Back in 2008 you had people forming massive raid groups taking over small towns and flight paths, building armies and entering into cities and absolutely taking over entire areas.
The idea behind the event was to show off the Lich King returning and how it changes Azeroth and the overworld, you can even go to Elwynn Forest and see the Naxxramas Citadel floating above it.
As the event progress and pre-patch ends, you will find even more hints of the Lich King and the lore scattered throughout the world.
I understand that many of you have not played the original game, and maybe some of you are from Retail and don’t understand the concept of Classic but for the most part these are the events that led up to the WoTLK expansion that we all love and are excited to play and people should participate in it while you can.
Once this event ends, we will never get another opportunity in our lifetime to experience it again. Savor the moment, enjoy the experience and have fun with it.
These posts are always people trying to shove the fact they played original vanilla down other peoples throats and thats it. I can say I played it to look how quirky and cool I am.
This event separates the strong from the weak. The strong will repel the zombie invasion and cleanse the lands of scourage. The weak will cry on the forums and accomplish nothing.
Good, the sooner it goes, the better, I’d like not being ganked in town when I’m just trying to work on a profession. Pvp or normal server, shouldn’t have to be worrying about that garbage.
It literally is gone in a couple days and then you have almost half a month of pre-patch left for you to AFK in town and queue into AV or w/e people do now a days.
Not sure why you’re in such a rush, 3 days won’t make or break anything.
That’s ok, you don’t have to be a fan of it or participate but just know that it is a major event that led into WoTLK and really set the theme for the lore and RP wise for the game.
