Tonight at 5PM WrA/7PM MG, Year of the Scourge Chapter 4 continues as we delve into the deep recesses of the earth to rescue our comrades and hopefully gather any information regarding the Scourge’s operation. Campaign Update
Yesterday, two dozen brave champions proceeded on a rescue mission to locate and secure four missing party members, abducted days ago while on a scouting mission.
The group proceeded to the cavern where reports indicated the party might be held. Upon descending into the cavern, they quickly realized the location was not what they had believed it to be.
They were, in fact, in a pit of flesh, an amalgamation of dozens, possibly hundreds of victims of Muaniir’s sadistic body experimentations. Every surface of the pit was covered in flesh and fluids, featuring eyes, mouths and hands. And the mouths spoke, beckoning the champions to let themselves join and feel the euphoria of unity.
Shaken but not deterred, the champions ventured forth and came upon several cultists and two of the missing party coalition members, unconscious, beaten and sliced.
Though a vicious battle ensued, the might of the allies overpowered the cultists, who were either killed or sacrificed themselves to the amalgamation.
Two of the missing have been secured, and returned to Amber Ledge. Two others remain missing.
Next event: Saturday October 30th at 5pm!
World Update
With the arrival of Fall, and Winter soon approaching, guard-escorted workers are venturing into Ashenvale and Elwynn forests to chop down wood, at great danger to themselves. Within Orgrimmar and Stormwind, shanty towns are being built, hastily, to try and house as many refugees as possible before the cold Winter months set in.
The cities are overflowing. The hungry are everywhere. The sick are dying. And the gates are still sealed to the outside world.
Alright, let’s wrap up in Borean…
Please enjoy this week's promotional material.

The Raid on En’kilah (Chapter 4, Week 3)
The heroes were met with a challenge: the Temple City of En’kilah. There were three objectives, but only enough manpower to secure two of them.
- The Temple of Decay: Muaniir the Herobreaker’s personal lab, with detailed documentation on Zinn’shalla and the new strain of Plague.
- The Temple of Blood: A ritual chamber where Knight Templar Beloran Autumnwing was being subject to a deadly ritual.
- The Temple of Pain: A war room with a communication orb bound to Mordramus. Through manipulating the orb, they could control the necropolis.
Ultimately, the decision was made to pursue the Temple of Pain and the Temple of Blood, with the objective being to use Mordramus to attack the Temple of Decay and destroy Muaniir’s research notes.
The heroes blazed across the Tundra and into the city, over which Mordramus loomed. They stormed through the gates as the citadel emits a loud hum. Flags were hung throughout the entire city!
Baring this crest:
A few abomination intercepted them, but were quickly dispatched. However, Mordramus fired its Blight canons upon them! Some were caught in the blast, but the group recovered and divided to its two objectives.
In the Temple of Blood, the crusaders pushed through some gargoyles, then charged up to the top. There, they caught Veladrin Arcanetrail - the san’layn servant of Lady Damnedfate - performing a ritual to drain Sir Autumnwing of his blood and carve domination runes onto his flesh.
They engaged the san’layn, but Angra - horrific half-orc, half-tunnler abomination and lieutenant to Muaniir - surged the stage. They collided with both lieutenants, eventually freeing Beloran and slaying Angra. Veladrin, however, managed to escape.
Nerubian guards intercepted the group at the Temple of Pain. They were dispatched with some ease, but Mordramus rained down upon them constantly. Once the guards were dispatched, a voice echoed from the chamber above. Dread Commander Muaniir the Herobreaker emerged from the war room and smiled down at them. He and the heroes exchanged fond greetings, then blows.
While the heroes, warriors, rangers, and magi drew the attention of the scientist, a rogue snuck around to break into the temple. Mordramus struck them continuously, they damaged Muaniir’s equipment, releasing a Plague cloud onto themselves! However, eventually, the rogue got into the chamber and stole the attuning matrix from the communication orb. Muaniir was forced to flee, and was almost captured before teleporting onto the necropolis.
The attuning matrix is what bound the communication orb to Mordramus’s Focusing Iris: the power source and main magical control of the necropolis. With control of the matrix, the heroes could control Mordramus. As Scourge reinforcements stormed into the city, they willed it to crash into the Temple of Decay! The explosion blasted the scourge to their knees, and the heroes escaped, with two documents in-hand, seemingly maps detailing battle plans hung on the walls of the temples.

Map from the Temple of Pain
With victory on the heart and intelligence in-hand, the heroes arrived at Moa’ki Harbor to prepare for their next steps.

A Letter from Obrahiim the Traveler
Plain Text
Our Most Illustrious Lady,
It is my distinct pleasure to inform you that we have received your guidance regarding transmuting the Divination Scryer for our purposes. We cannot expression our appreciation in words, but know the swell in our souls is beyond compare to know we are so fortunate as to play such a critical role in expediating your glorious ascension. Warlord Zek’thal almost certainly reciprocates each of these sentiments more than any other. He has updated his strategy to accommodate the inadequate Drakkari population and the new priority. Though such matters are far beyond my realm of expertise, there is no doubt that he shall succeed in his endeavors thanks to your generous reallocation of resources.
Humbly yours,
Obrahiim the Traveler
