Wherever I end up I think I’m gonna finally build KRAP (Kopperschott Recovery, Acquisition, and Procurement)…I built this salvage operation back during WoD and I’m still using the garrison as the RPHQ. It’ll largely be an engineering/alchemy hub, but my presence in any given neighborhood will either raise or lower property values depending on how much explosives tie into your NIMBY preferences
I’ve been out of the wow loop for a bit but I’m in!
Will there be cabalstone streets
Yes. Dealings with KRAP are still in my headcanon even though I think I only passed you in game once ![]()
Pink flamingos with built in fog machine?
I mean … who else are you gonna sell the best of what K.R.A.P. can produce, than the Murder Hobos Honster Mumpers War Criminals Bath-Salt Enjoyers Florida People Champions of Azeroth? And with the comfort of being a short walk from their new homes, no less?
You can even broaden K.R.A.P. out into a delivery service, Kopperschott’s Remittance, Allotment, Packaging, Shipping, Hauling and Official Transportation?
I’m all about expanding the operation as long as I got reliable morons
Think Tulsa King, but with more dynamite
You make me miss my little Goblin. She was a private “art & artifacts dealer”. She’s in hiding, I mean she’s retired now.
Make another one.
Join us in a new age of Goblinity! Twice the explosions, only half the environmental damage!
I have three now; Kloggnozzle is my alchemy specialist and Nutzenvultz works the advanced engineering angle. I have some non-goblins as well - Maarja runs security, Gastley is my Forsaken liason while Thulgrom handles Tauren interactions/environmental compliance. Runebraid is my sole Alliance envoy, and he keeps an ear open for my interests on Blueside in exchange for any warbound magical artifacts I can spare - all my alts overlap in terms of where they fit in the KRAP hierarchy.
I think one of the neatest things about housing is that it opens the door for having more RP alts, because neighborhoods reduce the pressure to keep alts leveled.
You never have to worry about being out-leveled by enemy mobs in neighborhoods, which have a fairly decent variety of biomes if you like more adventurous, non-city RP. And all your characters can just teleport there, unlike garrisons. And since ‘houses’ are going to be transformed into just about every type of building and concept imaginable, there’s going to be far more variety than capital city RP usually offers.
Yeah, our little housing instances are in a shared instance. And a large number of people can be brought into the shared instance. More options that garrisons ever had. We can have rp events that are behind a degree of protection, and not be stuck in one building or small area.
I think once housing is live we’ll have more options and hopefully people will be a bit happier with things.
It’ll be very nice to be able to walk away for a few second and not worry about patrols.
“Stop! You’ve violated the Law!”
OpenUpFBI.mov starts playing
It does make me wonder, to allow Cross-Faction play, does that mean that there won’t be NPC guards in Housing Instances? Or will they be neutral ala Bel’methadone and Future Silvermoon?
I want you to imagine the long-suffering sighs coming out of the Grunts and/or Guards called in to deal with a dispute between two neighbors, both of whom have killed Demi-Gods and Demon Lords and are about to square off with the power of God and Anime on both of their sides over a tree that keeps dropping leaves on the wrong side of the fencing line.
I think I saw some kind of neighborhood watch type NPCs but I wasn’t paying good attention in the beta. I was busy trying to get eyes on the neighborhood, itself.
The character I’m probably going to have run the neighborhood (I think. Maybe.) is a Remix character. That way I don’t have to take Kirsy out of Half Moon Gambit.
I’m not sure about “security” NPC’s either, now that you mention it. I’ve seen locals and laborers, but that’s about it. It would be neat if those NPCs would pop up and match the demographics of the residents.
Ok, so…
I should have a free minute tonight to make the guild and start inviting. The guild is Hordeside, so Horde alts/mains, please. Thokk came up with a really good name. I’ll post it up after I get the charter signed (sometime after 7 PM EST).
There’s a very basic Discord started. If you join the guild, you have to join the Discord. You can mute it if you want.
It occurs to me that some of my alts aren’t in a guild. If there’s room, maybe this could be an option if the slots aren’t filled yet?
Will be joining on Ironshield!
I don’t think guilds really fill. And the neighborhoods spawn additional instances at about 50% fill or something (don’t quote me on the percentage but I know it’s less than 100%).
Edit: Pulled the charter ![]()
