Re-playing all of the Wild Arms games, just finished the first one and now starting WA2.

Been hearing some idiots have been review bombing it on Meta Critic because it’s Switch-exclusive… guess they’re just salty because Platinum’s partnered with Nintendo again.
They waited too long to review bomb it’s already been praised heavily by everyone who’s review i give a crap about.

im not really into cyberpunk as a setting
because like we’ve already accomplished the corporate dystopia full of harmful technology and incredible inequality in real life
when you make it into sci fi all you’re doing is adding goofy haircuts and robot arms

This is the sci-fi RPG I’ve been waiting for ever since Mass Effect died, my hype is real.
The difference being when it’s in a video game i can enjoy it.
In real life i have to roll my eyes and ignore it because i don’t give a crap about it.

I got walled by side quests in Vesperia one requires 900,000 Gald to unlock the “Swimsuit episode.” that is tale’s tradition and 500,000 gald for a title.
At this point in the game with using a double gald drop accessory for 90% of the game and frugal spending i have 690k gald total.

I actually kind of like their reasoning? Admittedly I hope there’s more adaptable options further into the game, but I do like the admission that this is a thing, and that they goofed earlier and have tried to at least window-dress the issue.
Looks at EA and Blizzard.
More companies could stand to at least acknowledge this kind of thing.

Actually super interested in this. Bought the game ages ago, but the friend I bought it to play with lost interest in it so I haven’t touched it since.

I bought the early access on Xbox for myself and then a buddy said he really wanted to play it. Bought it for him and we only played once.
It’s okay solo, but it’s way more fun with a partner. Haven’t touched it since.
I’d get it on PC but lolnoPCfriends. If you’re super interested and up for some fun goes, I can definitely pick it up and be good to go by tomorrow since I forgot to play some Blair Witch yesterday and gotta make up for it tonight cuz I’m curious.
If not, Xbox supposedly hits 1.0 next week, so maybe I’ll be able to wrangle him in to check out the stuff and get a couple bounties.
