The new DC announcement has me confused as a long-time WoW player.

Still shocked by boybuns. It is a lot of work to add new races and genders, significantly more than in WoW. The fact they did it because the community wanted it just speaks so many volumes.

Just need to leave this here: I love the Reaper concept. It was actually what I imagined the last two months since the shirt. A reaper/scythe class that is very void/necromancy themed and has an undead minion to fight with. Basically a DK 2.0. I’m very happy with what I saw, and seven Hells, those animations are smooth. The last six seconds in that Reaper reveal video…

Now being tasked with heading all over the continent on naff fetch quests.
Rage Quit the game.
I know the story gets better. Y’all have told me as such. But holy crap is this TEDIOUS. I was invested in the upcoming Titan Fight but the minute this yahoo tells me to head to the Shroud, all desire for forward progress HALTS. Even with the Teleport system, these quests are reminding me of the worst aspects of the Vanilla WoW questing experience.
I’d only finished ARR’s story about a month before they made the announcement that they were going to streamline things get rid of about 100 of those filler quests.
I can’t blame you, I pretty much did the same my last time through. Take a few days off, but I still want to see your reaction to what happens after the Primal fight.
Been attending some events hosted by Xaelan(sp?) RPers (the Au ra with black scales) and their culture seems rather similar to how I always headcannoned uncorrupted orcs would be before Warlords of Draenor torpedoed everything.
Both were based prettily heavily on Asian steppe cultures. Chiefly the Mongols. But yeah, it’s amazing how different things can seem with just a bit of framing.
