I geeked out that the Endwalker trailer theme had bits and chords from the previous main themes of the other expansions. That was dope.
Yoshi P: I’m going to wear a shirt with a grim reaper on it for the reaper class.
Players and theorists: So it’s a band album image, and lyrics from the song heavily allude to a cathedral which is a temple and something about the coming of night, which is pronounced like knight but since we have paladin, we think about temple knight which means RUNE KNIGHT! GET HYPE NERDS.

After seeing this presentation, Blizzcon reveals just feel empty. A thorough two-hour presentation with a new class, multiple new features, an eight-seater mount, a cool cosplay, a cool Collector’s Edition including a statue, and dope trailers.
Blizzard: “But…have you seen this new zone you can’t mount in? That’s like…so cool, right?!”
I’m emotionally devastated that I would waste so much dosh just for that god damn pin in the collectors edition
FF14 reminds me more and more of a Game WoW used to be. More of a interactive living world where you were invested into and less theme park where you’d visit for a few hours then go home, disappointed by the cost of admission and the overpriced food items.

I gotta admit, I didn’t really want them. But now that I see them, I might try out a race change. They seem normal sized and lean at the same time, which is something I can personally get behind. Very elf-like.

You know, I was disappointed to not see female hrothgar.
But hearing Yoshi P confirm they are coming sort of reminded me why I’ve fallen in love with this game.
Because the Devs are genuinely so caring about the community that they’ve built up enough good will to go, “We’re sorry, but we promise it is coming” and most people believe it 100%.
I know I did.
