Yep. In a game that is basically open beta and not for real for real released in the case of New world. Steam still has it as a preorder…that you can play. I read that as pay to beta really.

You can definitely tell the influx in FF14. When I got there in June, you never saw a cuss word…
Month later and the sarcasm and profanity in zone channels has a distinct Azerothian flavor.
I keep hoping it’s a blip and that FF won’t satisfy the majority of this type of personality. Luckily, impatient whingers tend to hate the MSQ and move on to a more dopamine-providing whack-a-mole game.

Beta, you mean that place where feedback is gathered and bug testing happens?

WoW players are used to a game that plays well and expect to hold other games to that same standard. Actually insane to be mad at fans who want to play a quality product. Lol.

How do you spread toxicity to other communities when those communities don’t exist as the games are not out?
Also remember the FF14 peeps who tried to disrupt Asmongold and pushed for people to report him to get him out of their game? Seem people are just bad online. That and the weather after sports.

Yeah I’ve been pointing this out to people that won’t stop bragging about the FF14 community on this forum. They’re trying to recruit people I guess but they’re probably recruiting people that supposedly makes this community suck.
Do they think jerks just magically stop being jerks just because they’re playing a different game?
