I disagree. The worst thing in the world is stepping barefoot into barf/poop when you get up to get a drink in the middle of the night.

Oh god. That might be a tie. That happened to me a few nights ago. I stepped in to a big pile of cat throw up. Chunky cat throw up with big pieces of ham in it. How it feels between your toes is just revolting.

Ahhh, my poor sheltered Huntillia. I see you have never felt the soul crushing disappointment that comes from biting into a warm chocolate chip cookie… only to find that your mouth is full of oatmeal and raisin lies. Yes, which is why I’ve learned to step very carefully on my way to and from the bathroom at night.
Although there’s a sliding scale here based on the softness of the … material. Firm and relatively dry is easy to deal with. The other kind gets really ugly really quick.
