No event lasts months. And where are you getting this info from?
The reveal trailer said 2 months give or take a few days
Also they said the event is the patch
It’s still going to be Season 1.
But I can do anniversary stuff instead of seasonal stuff 
I rather work on my tmogs, and level my alts etc

They said it will last a patch so either 11.0.7 or season 2.

After buying the first, the cost for the rest is decreased. It’s decreased again after buying a second set.
This isn’t just an event, it’s the 11.0.5 patch. How long was the Forbidden Reach until 10.1 released? There’s your answer.

I wish we could vist outland before bc expension and do new quests and things and their is lore before bc expension or even wc2 beyond the dark portal with our characters see the past and do quests their it’s possible to get their even without dark portal according to lore,I made post about it

I don’t read anything from Blizzard as it’s usually them happily telling me they’re about to screw me over. And this would be a first that an event is lasting so long.
