Not in love with Ciri’s new voice actress. Her face doesn’t look right either. Still really excited though as 3 is one of my favorite games, maybe even my favorite ever.
She looks like she got fillers.
I would have liked to see her a little more worn/rough look because life as a witcher isn’t easy
she looks very anime like i didnt even realize it was ciri at first
not getting anime vibes at all, she just has the typical CGI realism look. she looks much like what you’d expect a mid 30s actress to look like

agreed, plus its a cinematic for a game that’s three years out if it’s not delayed so I’m sure the character will be going through changes for actual game play.

I don’t know if I’d describe it as anime just that between her facial changes and voice actress that I wasn’t even sure it was her.
We’ve also seen some other game characters get hit with some radical facial changes vs their actors/actresses over the years.
Yeah I hate these years early reveals. It almost kills the hype over time. Show the game when you have some gameplay at least.
At some point when your IP gets big, artist interpretations change over time. Even in our game here characters have changed drastically.
In other IPs, like Batman for example, you’ll have a bunch of different interpretations of the character.
So, I don’t think it’s necessarily good or bad, just how an IP evolves.
Think the game is gunna open with Ciri soaking in a tub?

developers have already said the game starts with Vesemir getting into the tub, full frontal and back…no skip scene keys…in slow motion…with ray tracing to really show off the realistic graphics

Cute that grifters are already crying woke over this.
Ciri is written well and was already being set up to be the new playable character. But the grifters are ignoring all that ( even tho they claim they want good writing. Lying idiots ) because waaa woman.
And I’m saying this as someone that hasn’t played The Witcher. Even I’m aware that these are GOOD characters in the writing department.

Truthfully all this stuff is just bad for overall mental health. Doesn’t matter what side of it you’re on. It’s a time wasting vortex that sucks people in.
Much better off finding something productive instead of getting worked up on the internet. Way too many people out there spending too much time on the screen.
If a game looks appealing to you then play it, and if it doesn’t then don’t. Not worth getting worked up over something that doesn’t have an impact. That’s how I view it anyway.
