The Winter Queen and Elune

Yeah I could easily see all the Pantheon-equivalent (Or close enough) individuals that interact seeing each other as like Cosmic siblings.

Yea, even during the ending cinematic for Legion, Aman’thul says “Brother, your burning crusade is over
”

While Sargeras was originally a pantheon of Order, he became one of Disorder.

I think they just see themselves as siblings and the First Ones as “parents.”

I do not believe there was any hard evidence to say she is a pantheon of Life, as that’s just been speculation due to a few connections with Ysera and the Emerald Dream.

Her power seems more along the lines of being tied to the Light and Void (shadow) and a bit towards Arcane.

It would make sense if she was a First One, but then the other Pantheon wouldn’t refer to her as “sister.”

Personally, I think she is a Fanatic Light Pantheon who disguises her “evil intentions” of worship from the others.

Her connection to the Emerald Dream and other life forces are because her lover is a Pantheon of Life.

Another version of the tale says that Malorne fell in love with the goddess of the moon during the world’s first nightfall. Her light guided him through the woods and showed him he was not alone. It banished fear and brought hope. Many creatures have loved the moon and pursued her to madness. She grants light as she will, on her own timetable, and moonlight cannot be captured or possessed.

I think Elune is a Fanatic Light Pantheon who has slain other Pantheon to either posses their powers for herself, or to become the supreme ruler.

This would explain a few things such as:

  • Light/Void manipulation
  • Creation of the Narru
  • Few Old God Whispers
  • Naruu attack on Revendreath, why Denarthius joined Zo’vaal.

It was mentioned in the new book

No it’s been “confirmed” in the amazon previews of the new lore book “Grimoire of the Shadowlands”, inasmuch the Brokers “believe” Elune is part of the Pantheon of Life.
