The War Within Season 2 Mythic+ Updates Ahead

Except there are no numbers to support that.

Shouldn’t be possible to get hero track gear from content doable in early gear from last expansion. Blizzard’s failure to tune delves properly early on isn’t an excuse to not do so now as well.

Huge, these are great changes! I’m glad they listened

No.

To be fair that happens with every season, in every aspect of the game, in any game that has a rating system.

When everyone stats at zero, and takes off, the good players are going to inevitably sweep the not as good players up with them because they were jsut caught in the good players tail wind.

You see this in pvp a lot as well, start of a season getting up to like 1600 or 1800 is a lot easier because everyone is kinda in the same place and you can if you are lucky, pick off low skilled players in a bracket they have no business being in.

Thing is, in PvP, over time the brackets normalize and people fall into the skill they actually are at, M+ does not have this happen because your rating can never go down.

Except you can manually deplete your key in Dornogal.

No, its not a good idea inside of the reward range. Its its own reward for outside the reward levels

M+ is easier than delves…?

Clearly the numbers people have been throwing around on the forums either aren’t correct or do not meet Blizzard’s expectations for their current M+ system. Otherwise none of these changes would be happening in the first place.

The same could be said if they had nerfed delves imo.

Okay? And? That’s doing it intentionally, not a consequence.

And if someone has complete all M+ dungeons for a season at +5 their keys can no longer deplete below +5.

You’ve been spouting that line for months. Despite the outcry from top end players, content creators. Despite the article from the team at raiderio. And even now that the dev team acknowledged and nerfed the wheels off of it. Lemme get a tissue for that egg on your face.

If you don’t like the changes though, you don’t have to play it. It may just not be for you.

No. When within the rewards levels there should be a consequence for failure. Unless we are removing rewards from a failed key, depletion ought to stick around.

Maybe get a bit of literacy and check numbers.

Then there’s zero challenge in the reward range. You just walk out and reset every time if you don’t time it. At that point the entire point of the mode is made useless.

Bingo.

Meh. Still not worth the effort.

Then the only thing any of us can do is see how the tuning pans in S2

They have already, at that point, completed all 8 dungeons as a +5 or better. If they have a +6 or higher key it will still deplete but depletion stops at +5 because they have completed all dungeons on a +5 but not higher.

IMO they need to change it so keys don’t deplete but. Timing a key rewards extra loot.
Still have a reason to time it, and still have a reason to push through it and finish if you cant.

A smoother ramp in difficulty will help prevent players from being placed into difficulty levels they’re not ready for. These changes do the opposite of what you’re saying.

The only thing I see for 12’s is the removal of 10% extra health and maybe a small bit of scaling from the 2-11 keys. Peril and the normal scaling remains. That will account for what? Maybe 1 extra key level? There’s still plenty of challenge there for those that want it. These changes are a great way to appeal to both groups of players.

Nope I’m pretty secure with my numbers.

It leads to degenerate gameplay that leads to being carried to max level rewards where your key will never deplete even though youre not capable of clearing the content.

Which is why it stays outside of reward levels where carries are increasingly harder to do
