If you were only referring to some players, I would even agree with you.
A significant number of players have an incredibly toxic relationship with this game. However, you presented your comment as a generalization, which automatically includes all critics. If you want to backtrack now, fine, then I share the same opinion. Both those who still give Blizzard money but hate WoW intensely and those who worship this game obsessively are to be pitied.

Yeah, but I think we can agree that disliking a game and review bombing are possibly two different things here. Review bombing is the act of giving a game the lowest score possible, even if it’s not necessarily deserving of that score. Some people take it an extra step by making multiple accounts to review bomb the game.
And I mean, if that’s how someone channels their discontent with something, then I suppose good on them. However, I would personally consider that to be unhealthy and toxic.
They are included in the opening patch (Patch 11.0) . Opening patch isn’t the entire expansion and to be honest people really need to stop acting like an opening patch to an expansion is the entire expansion .
I mean that’s fair, I but it doesn’t get to the point where a person is actively trying to interrupt other people enjoying a thing so it’s not really something I’m gonna worry about. If someone wants to waste their time making multiple accounts to write bad reviews that I won’t read, go ahead I guess, but when people are just actively being nasty to people who like a thing for liking it then I’m gonna point it out.
I’m always hanging around talking about products and companies that I have been unsatisfied with for at least 7 years. Its very healthy to get it off my chest.
Legion , BfA and SL . Yeah I agree the three xpacs with their porrowed power passive ability trees that went away once their respective expansions were over were pretty bad .
And what makes you think that I’m playing retail? There are several versions of WoW, just for your information. 
People will forgive Legion for having this great story and set pieces, but the overall gameplay of the expac was awful until a year into the expansion.
And then turned questionable in 7.3

Story wise I would agree other then “I AM MY SCARS”
For hunters it was the expansion where we pretty much realized Blizz hated us especially the poor melee survival hunters but as you said a year in it did improve some what .
This is the way forums are in every period before an xpac hits.
The retail players thank you for your monetary contribution to the development of more retail content.
