I am somewhat excited to try it out. I think it COULD be good, and I think dragonflight is an improvement to shadowlands. If they keep momentum going in an improved direction TWW could be a very good experience. However, I would be lying if I said the three bad expansions in a row didnt leave a bad taste in my mouth.

You’re paying a wow sub correct? I, for one, am glad your sub money is going to fund retail content.
Playing the “What capstone for FDK is good” every patch was fun - especially since both playstyles were completely different.
But then again, I have some bad opinions about Shadowlands - so take it with a grain of salt.
Good for you. It’s Blizzard, who decided to put everything under the same sub. Considering that retail felt like a ghosttown the last time I tried it, it’s probably one of their better decisions.

You just gotta ignore the doomsayers. I used to be like that in BFA and SL. I never had a good word to say about wow during those times. I should have quit but I didn’t. SL finally pushed me to quit for an extended time and I’ve come back with a much better perspective. If wow isn’t fun for me I’ll just simply quit again instead of posting doom into the void on the forums.
The open world generally feels dead to me too.

The open world as in the Wetlands or Blade’s Edge Mountains? All the zones in the current expansion definitely feel populated to me.
Hasn’t been my experience, I rarely see anyone in any place other than the hub city.

If anything, I’ve seen a generally positive outlook. There are always people on the otherside of an argument, but TWW seems to have a pretty positive outlook so far.

I think the only “Negative” thing I have seen is people skeptical about Delves. Which they have a right to be after the horrible mess that was Torghast.
I am still excited to try Delves though. The idea of engaging solo content is appealing.

My head canon has us all in a coma after fighting Argus and waking up prior to going to the Dragon Isles.
Allied races were new groups the aliance and horde met while we were out cold.
BfA & SL never happened

Classic comes free with a retail subscription.
Even if all you do is play classic ,the money goes towards retail development
