Me, I’m the final boss of the game. 6 phase fight. Phase 2 and 4 are in the air and involve several quick time events. Last phase takes place in The Great Nothing and a latin chorus will play as I reveal my final form.
…with wings, I hope.
It’s a bait and switch. Phase 5 I’m an oversized arcane crystalline entity with wings; but my final form is a 4th dimensional me, represented by an off colored version of my base form.
Long as it’s an alliance leader this time I’m fine, sadly Tyrande is happy again and not the leader anymore so she won’t go crazy, Genn can’t go crazy as it only effects leaders and he gave his seat to his daughter…so Turalyon is who I’d say get’s the villain bat
I don’t know if they’re going to turn people evil in the next expansion, but they will probably kill characters off. This is how the writers prove they’re mature and totally not bad at their jobs.
Blizzard has been replacing a lot of older characters, so I’m assuming Lor’themar is getting killed off or sidelined. But don’t worry Blood Elves, he’ll hand off leadership to some random character you’ve barely heard of.
The other big option is for Thrall to die, because no one would see that coming. They’ve also been teasing a return of Sylvanas, which will probably mean she sacrifices herself to save Anduin at some point, completing her story arc.
So, my guesses are Sylvanas, Thrall or Lor’themar.
There’s also, Genn, but, he’s Alliance and Alliance characters don’t really die.
Varian
Anduin Lothar
Daelin
Antonidas
Rhonin
Tirion
Uther
Tiffin
You can count to that quite a lot of destroyed zones and cities thanks to the Horde, lol. xD
I was going to stipulate, that characters obviously have died in lore… I didn’t think I needed to. Obviously I was wrong.
Those characters… literally don’t matter.
Well, save for Varian, that’s your only good example. To which, I’d simply counter with like 20 Horde examples.
No one, faction wars are dead.
Uh… sure, go ahead, if my examples don’t count for you.
I find it somewhat silly to point fingers at others when it’s obvious that a whole host of characters have died. On the other hand, if you look at the zones and cities, the Horde can’t even begin to compare with all the suffering that has befallen the Alliance due to the Horde.
Be that as it may, Blizzard would be pretty foolish, if they pulled the same stunt again with new characters… So, it’s quite possible that it happens.
Why aren’t you just posting on your Alliance main? Do you think your post is more valid if you post as a Horde character?
Also, again, the number of characters the Horde have lost is substantially more than the Alliance.
and then to rub hot sauce in the wound: Turalyon manages to beat her but he knows it’s only a matter of time before the Void takes her again, so he embraces her, says “everything will be alright, my love”, looks over her shoulder, gives a slight nod to Arator (their son), wordlessly telling him to impale them both because it’s the only way.
If it makes you happier to hear this: If I had the opportunity, I would transfer my toons over to the Alliance, but it’s not possible due to the way factions work in this game. But it’s interesting, that your only argument is that I prefer the Alliance, instead of admitting that your statement was simply incorrect. xD
We never said it’d be a faction war, just a popular lore character turning evil. Which will be a Horde member.
That trope got exhausted already. Good writers dont reuse the same thing on a pattern because the story becomes predictable.
But it’s interesting, that your only argument is that I prefer the Alliance, instead of admitting that your statement was simply incorrect.
Was that the only point I made or did I also immediately say this?

You do realize what you’ve been doing so far, don’t you?
You: Alliance characters don’t die.
Me: I can show you some examples that prove otherwise.
You: Those don’t count. I could easily list 20 important Horde characters.
Me: Alright, go ahead.
You: You’re just an Alliance main anyway.
Me: I would be, if I could, sure. What does that have to do with the topic?
Meanwhile, I’m still waiting for your list of 20 very important Horde characters. Great discussion so far… not.
Tyrant Turalyon would be wonderful.
But Blizzard doesn’t have the guts to do it.
…It’s about to come off cooldown, just in time for The War Within.
So which Faction Leader is Blizzard gonna swing it at next?..
Meanwhile
OK, name one Horde leader that’s still alive and still in power since WC3.
All Horde leaders have either been sidelined completely or killed off. The list of characters is overwhelming, and the list gets even greater when we list side characters.
Meanwhile, what?
You’d have to be delusional to think that the Alliance has it worse than the Horde, and that was my entire point.
I have no idea why you think it’s better to be a victim, and why you want the Alliance to be a victim. I don’t want the Horde to be a victim, I want the devs and writers to stop gutting the faction because it’s an easy out for them and their lack of ability.
