Cleared the Burning Crusade raids with Glory until real life got in the way. Prior to that was in Reborn.

Hope to see some familiar names on Grobbulus!

Istas and Zarja! We die so you don’t have too!

It’s going to be brilliant to see recognizable names (friend and foe) in the world again, instead of a sea of faceless people from CRZ.

For you guys that plan to bring back your RP-PVP guilds, don’t forget to visit this thread.

Wyldfire/Badwa GRUNTS I am afraid Dread and I are going to the new classic rppvp server Grobbulus and starting up Grunts again. Looking for old and new crazy people to world pvp, a little dungeon crawling and just have a good time with. Running around punching alliance bare handed will be encouraged. (Counting Coup it is called in the 10 dollar word category)

He was one of the most entertaining writers. When he played he sang batman theme

For those that remember us from The Venture Co, I thought I would share this. A bit of backstory for those that don’t know. Myself, Dreadneck-Dreadloc and Dreadbeard in the video, Wyldfire, and Vaale all snuck our warlock toons into a back room in Stromwind with bags full of soulshards days before we actually planned the raid. With many death runs we finally got into place and logged out. We then set up with our friendly guilds, such as Blacktooth Grin and Whitetusk Tribe to form a raid and began summoning everyone in. When you see us in the room and we are all standing on a line, that is not because we were particularly disciplined, everyone was told if they emoted, yelled, or crossed the line before hand they would be kicked. After a long bout of summoning, we were ready and we went into action. A lot of my fun was looking at names from the raid and remembering who everyone was. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Found the second video which shows that our mission was to slap Magni! Mission Accomplished! As you can see from the text at the end.

Wasn’t Much Too Much an ally guild? I remember many TM/SS and STV battles against them.

Yes, they were allies that transferred late vanilla if I remember right. The were the top alliance guild into TBC. ~Guiro

I remember that day and all the prep that went into it, was epic!!!

That video brings back so many memories with old friends, pretty sure i saw myself too, FRAPS was the only game on the block to record if i recall correctly =)

Good to see you and Wyld will be coming back and reforming Grunts

/salute

Alliance side from day 1 I believe, I started out horde in Grunts and joined later after xfering my Rogue off the server to raids, so not 100% on their origin story, Argaio can probly fill us in there =p

I honestly don’t remember my guild mates. But I was horde. I played an Undead Priest, named Alieshia. I specialized in Holy, went Disc in Cata and now am playing back again Holy. I had a nelf druid named Celyda. But I’m absolutely playing Classic again. I used to raid hardcore all the way back up to Cata and I’d like to raid again in Classic.

I was Verite (spelled Veritae at some point) a holy paladin always RP-WPVPing and raiding Alliance cities.

I would love to reconnect with old RP and WPVP friends with whom I’ve lost touch over the years, especially the following:

  • Jakiel and Jakil, Troll rogues and Verite’s ‘chosen brothers’ (they were in Blacktooth Grin)

  • Hranu, Tauren chieftain of the Hawktotem Tribe

  • Vikros, Undead mage

  • Mugrunch, an Orc warrior who has been on several servers and in several guilds with me (namely Lightninghoof (in Champions of Lordaeron), then VeCo (Blacktooth Grin, Dragonmaw Vanguard), and Emerald Dream)

Looking forward to seeing familiar names on Grobbulus!

We were Alliance indeed. I started on M2M when the guild was still leveling his members. I was playing my warrior with my friend (Dintor, a dwarf priest) and we were at lvl 30s more or less.

Dintor knew someone in Bottoms of the Barrel (another Alliance pvp guild that was like brothers-in-arms with M2M) and they invited us for some bgs to test us (back in the day we would sit at lvl 39, then 49, then 59, before going to 60). BotB was playing premades with M2M that day.

Myzari (leader of M2M, that is also coming back for classic) liked our style. Talked to us and we joined. M2M became our family on WoW since then. BotB transfered off few months after hit lvl 60 while M2M stood in The Venture Co.

Senjin Village People was like our rivals and friends in Horde side. If a member from M2M or SVP would reroll, he/she would most likely join the other guild.

We decided to come Horde this time, but it was a hard decision. We made a pool and a small majority voted for Horde.

It will be an interesting experience to play classic from the other side of the battlefield. I’m going to miss Blessing of Freedom, but I will welcome the OPness of Windfury totem pre-TBC.
