Same here. I noticed I had this bug on my Venthyr character, but not on a Kyrian character. Curious if that has something to do with it.
i have done it on both kyrian and venthyr characters both are grey not green likethe others
I do not have credit either. Blizzard releasing unpolished script. Shocking.

Did not receive credit for finishing Unseen Guests even though I completed it. Contacted support and received a reply that said there is not fix at this time and to post it in the Bug Report forum. No info in how soon this will be fixed or what might be causing it.
The quest tracker shows The Unseen Guests as incomplete, but the achievement tracker shows it as completed and I have been able to proceed with the following quests. This seems to be a bug in the quest tracker, at least for me.
Quest tracker not showing completion of Unseen Guests, but quest tracker acknowledges quest lines completion after it.
