A few things for this post, and this time theyâre all Saurok related.
The first part is an item that I came across. Specifically this:
It has the following flavor text:
âThe Saurok have repurposed this priceless, ten-thousand-year-old ceramic in to a chamber pot.â
This of course means that Saurok are potty trainedâŚwasnât really expecting to delve into this topic in here, but at the very least, it shows how Saurok generally feel about Mogu in general. If we get anything from this, it should be that playable Saurokâs main enemy should be evil Mogu. Anyway, this is just an amusing item I came across I wanted to share.
The second part involves an armor set you can get in the game: âBattlegear of the Saurok Stalkerâ
As you can see, Saurok can be turned into armor, which gives the idea of a Natural Armor racial even more credibility. Now you too can walk around like a Saurok and look stylish while youâre at it!
So would this affect playable Saurok in anyway? Short answer: No.
The most likely thing to occur is that it wouldnât be addressed or reacted to in-game by friendly Saurok NPCâs. If anything, maybe some small flavor text at reaction to having any armor pieces being transmogged on any of your armor of how you were stronger or hopes that it came from an enemy tribe (âI hope that Ssssaurok wasss from the Ssssskumblade Tribe!â).
Although having such a transmog could mean that playable Saurok would be capable of wearing other Saurok as armor. A bit weird, though potentially practical from a defensive point-of-view.
If anything, such a practice could come into being if the idea that Saurok would use every part of their killâs body, making sure not to waste anything. Meat to consume, organs to perform experiments, bones to make armor or tools out of, etc. It could be viewed as a âthe strong view their kills in high regard and to waste anything would be an affrontâ belief.
On another note, since Iâm at 3 posts in a row again and may need someone to post before I can post more, I wanted to ask if anyone might be interested in a Saurok photo-shoot in Orgimmar in the near future. It would just be a simple event of taking screenshots with a group of people with different Saurok illusions on. Summertime may have people with some free time, so I figured it could be a good time to see if anyone might be interested.
I donât expect a huge turnout for it, and Iâll have to plan around my Summer class that starts soon, but if anyone is interested, please let me know. Iâll likely post more details in the future.
