Well they were told there would be "No" vanilla servers. That seems to be so inconvenient for you that you ignore it. Just like you ignore being decent to people. I guess if it doesn't work for you it just gets passed over.
Oh, so you agree they said no, multiple times? Good.
And ur Wrong. They never said no about classic servers. And you are leaving out very important FACTS about classic servers that Blizz needed to acknowledge and act on that in no way are the same thing to the high elf debate. Terrible argument.
It's like comparing apples to a wrecking ball.
Here is where J. Allen Brack said the actual word "No!" on this topic:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Wrw3c2NjeE
Here is a tribute to the "Wall of No!" that followed here on the forums (filled with attitudes like yours):
https://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/2331373-In-remembrance-of-the-Wall-of-No
Here is the announce trailer at a later Blizzcon where Chromie takes a shot at Brack saying he "lacked vision" (kudos for taking that on the chin Mr. Brack, class act):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=550t8jeYRgg
Here is a link to the Classic or "Vanilla" discussion forums:
https://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/22814264/Ion never said no, he said maybe in the future. While implying heavily that he wasn't really seeing how it could work. That's fair. As for what I'm leaving out with a position on Blizzard using "no" as a stance to a feature, adding High Elves would be significantly easier with a much lower risk than building vanilla as a paid sub again.

You guys had a great discussion going on earlier about racials and stuff. Why are you reverting to engaging with attention-seeking trolls?

Yet they don't entirely, otherwise you'd have Helves by now.
Yep! That's true! That's the point of this thread. To show that people are passionate and care very much about a race they want to play that now seem to be more potentially accessible than ever before thanks to the introduction of Allied Races.
Blizzard has their priorities, and the order they wish to tackle them. Allied Races are far from over as a concept it seems, and so long as they keep introducing new ones, they should be made aware of one particular race that is heavily yearned after to help them when they decide which race comes out next. Will the next pair of allied races include high elves? Realistically? No. They likely have plans already in the works.
I just want to help make sure they see why there is now more justification for them than ever before with these new standards that have been put in place.

I use them as tools. For example, I can show another 50 people Brack saying "NO!" then Chromie saying he lacked vision up there. They're my unwitting servants. Admittedly I get a kick out of that and should tone it down to stick to new ideas. :)

Because some people are really good at misdirection and should probably just be hunters.
If you want to talk about racials though, I had a few I've mentioned ad infinitum and would absolutely love to talk about again.
So far though, the only ones that really seem to click with the community was the slight increase in range for attacks (like 2yd).
The one I came up with would be basically a racial version of the pvp talent "Relentless" that reduces CC by 20%
My version would play nicely with their lore and be called "Captive Champion" that reduces all CC on them by 10%.
I got it from their wiki. "High elven children would play a game called Captive - each turn a child would be tied up by the others. The one who would release himself in the least amount of time won."

No, your feeding the trolls and eating up space that could be used for discussion and allowing more of the toxic garbage that got some of the old threads banned to fester.
You almost as bad as the people you are arguing with.

but that didn't happen its to late they have said countless times no
They never said no.
They said no plans in the near future but anything can happen.
Know what the did say no on? Flying, Classic Servers, Heritage Armor for old races.
Things change.
So seriously back off. We don't need to work as a team to derail this further do we? Your horse isn't high enough to get off of on this you can just roll from here my dude.

Well I'll put this back on course.
One of the things that bother me the most in the game is that High Elves, Half Elves, and mortal form Dragons all share the same Blood Elf with blue eyes and Night Elf voiceover (sans Elune). It's the most glaring placeholder I've seen.
What ideas do you have for possibly using a High Elf model to replace all three placeholders at once?
Just stick with the High Elf aesthetic?
What are your thoughts on providing additional customization through Half Elves?
What about optional dragon customization? Perhaps High Elves could become wards of the Blue and Red dragonflights?

So, did you watch the whole video? Or just the part where he said no. And on that point. The other links you posted. They didnt say no. They said it would be considered, but look at the pros and cons. You want me to explain? I can. I would love to tell you all about what you conveniently missed.
With High elves, they said no. Plain and simple. They even said why the answer is no.
Dont like it? Welp, not all answers are made to please you.

Who is the bigger fool?
The fool or the one who tries to argue with them?
Yeah I got carried away :) so back to elves please??
Iâll refrain from feeding the trolls :)
Iâve got some high hopes it will happen but it wonât ruin the game if it doesnât.
Iâd like to see what yâall think of their involvement with stormwind will pan out?? Or do you think they will join, but help the Nightelves and Worgen in kind of a way to show Anduin to help their allies in their time of need??

What about runic inspired racials?
Yeah i kinda take issue with:
-Slightly different physique. Possibly buffer/metier than the average Blood Elf because they mostly live in the forest and/or highly Militarised. About as different as Nightborne males from Night Elf males or less so. Or based on Night Elf models.
15 years
both have warriors, hunters and both of those are outdoorsy. Where are my buff bloodelves!?
makes them not different.

So I wonder how these guys will feel when blizzcon '18 and blizzcon '19 etc etc comes and goes and no mention of high elves, except that the horde is waiting for them lol

I tried to post this but it got buried in the pointless bickering.
Things to discern High Elves from Blood ElvesLikely alterations/additions-
-Tattoos/Warpaint like Alleria.
-Different Hair/Facial hair styles (Less fancy) with Blue/White hair colors and no red hair color.
-Blue Eyes/Purple Eyes. (Duh!)
Possible Additions/Alterations--Different idle stances. Like between Female Night Elves/Nightborne.
-Slightly different physique. Possibly buffer/metier than the average Blood Elf because they mostly live in the forest and/or highly Militarised. About as different as Nightborne males from Night Elf males or less so. Or based on Night Elf models.
-More practical building designs. Like altered versions of the Lodges.
-Celtic themes to tie it all together.
-Woodsmen themed Heritage Armor.
Basically enforcing the old WC2 aesthetic over the newer Blood Elf one.

I get why you want to argue with them but I believe a discussion on the merits of High Elves independent of other factors is a lot more interesting.
Don't engage them unless they seem willing to engage in discourse. Most aren't.

Also not to go off topic but your avatar is amazing lmao. It looks like he's giving the side-eye to someone with how the helm is angled and his glowing eyes are more off to the side.

I agreed that you are almost as bad. As i've engaged with you in this thread i've seen it first hand. And no, i don't lie haha. Least not intentionally. I might forget things from time to time but thats life.
