Void elves don’t even have a single building anywhere. The best they have are some tents (and they use kirin tor tents from Isle of Thunder).
I found some Void Elf Architecture, I guess:
Void elves are so few that they don’t a have culture yet, they’re just Blood Elves Magisters touched by the Void, nothing more.
They don’t have the work force to do the job or any need to build a city to settle their people, any Human inn should be enough to handle the whole squad.
We literally live on a space rock.
Though I’m not particularly sure what our own unique stuff would look like…
Some High/Blood Elf buildings with tentacles?
Indeed, The “High Elf” lodges are just re-purposed NE assets. The way I see it, it is meant to show those lodges perhaps are closer to a kaldorei aesthethic than a late thalassian one; indeed, these lodges are probably earlier structures, or constructed to more simple and economic specifications rather than the opulent structures of Quel’thalas.
I feel like the structures we saw on Azsuna on the Legion Alpha could be a good representation of what early High Elf architecture could have been; is still Highborne aesthetic, but still close to its armonious kaldorei roots, not pushed to extremes like the Suramar and Quel’thalas architectures -you can see the commonality between them, but they are quite unique at this point-

I think this is how a High Elf lodge could most likely look; it feels like the middle step between Kaldorei and Sindorei Lodges, and what the usage of Kaldorei lodges for Quel’danil could be interpreted as. Maybe more wood paneling and other elements.
In Short, I think the Azsunan architecture could be a good base for an eminently modern High Elf aesthetic. As higborne architecture, it’s a middle point between Kaldorei and Sindorei aesthetics. Using that architecture as base, it ould be easy to work on slight modifications like doing without moon motifs and maybe low-teching it with more wood elements.
The other, maybe even simpler option, is just to look at Dalarani Architecture, which already is a mix between human and thalassian aesthetic.
Weird. I tried to link the image directly but it didn’t work because it has no image format.
About architecture, I think modern high elven buildings would look like Dalaran’s, while older places would be like silver/blue “blood elf” buildings.
Also, void elf buildings will probably have gold/purple themes and lots of void lanterns/gems all over the place.
Man that sounds really creepy, and a bit gross as well. XD
Celtic House would be my idea. But I do like the Azsuna buildings.
Anyone remember the Warcraft 3 Elf farms?
Would love to see that with the moons changed into a sun, or a blue phoenix. Azsuna had some stellar building design. Highborne stuff in general looks amazing, I can’t wait to see more of it in Zin-Azshari in 8.2.
They could also just make it out of wood instead of stone.
Could a fixed Loch Modan become the High Elves’ home? There is a Lodge there (with a single High Elf, strangely enough).
exactly this. I want this as the high elven architecture.
I do. I wonder if Reforged Might update them in the Future?
I hope so.
They had a lot of placeholder models.
If I can’t have High Elves can I atleast have Night Elf Paladins? I’m sick of being a human Male Paladin.
I don’t see why not. Blizz can argue they’re “moonlight warriors”, the other side of “night warriors”.
Also, they could make Void Elves paladins arguing they are using void instead of light (so void paladins), and it would be cool if they changed all light references and spell visuals to shadow/void. Undead could also be paladins this way.
This has been my dream since WC2.
I’m also surprised Night Elves weren’t given Paladins (And Elune Paladins would be sick too.) when Moonfang became a Paladin in Legion.
